Chris Jericho Turning Face?

I have some breaking news on WWE Superstar or "Entertainer" Chris Jericho.

In an interview with Mike Mooneyham of Charleston.net Chris Jericho said all great villains such as Darth Vader and Hannibal Lecter turn babyface because they're interesting characters with layers.

As such, he expects his character to turn babyface again. "I've pretty good so far with not having that happen."

This came straight from Jericho in an interview so it is was shocking to hear, especially since he is currently in a huge feud with Shawn Micheals, who has been his rival ever since turning heel. Jericho went on in the interview and had this to say:

"In another six months or so it might change unless I can think of something else and another way to get under peoples skin. It's a lot easier to make people hate you than it is to make them really, really like you.

"And usually, to make them really, really like you, they have to hate you first. That's the cool thing about wrestling. You can play a character like this and go through the spin cycle. As long as they're interested in the character, it really doesn't matter to me."

Wow, another six months he might turn heel again, it could be obviously his new show that he is in that made the WWE turn him face again, mainly to attract more viewers I'm assuming.

Its a good move on the WWE's part to make him face again, he does much better as a heel for me, but not as this type of heel.  I prefer more of the guy he usually portrays that insults people and makes you laugh.

I think that is way more Chris Jericho than this Chris Jericho we are currently exposed to. I loved the save us idea by the WWE when he returned earlier this year, but it is better if he goes face and does the normal Jericho rather than the whiny Jericho we are seeing.

With Randy Orton coming back soon as the prominent heel, Jericho will be able to be a face, before there were not very many main event wrestlers to be a heel, so they decided to use Jericho in that spot, and really had to drag on the HBK/Jericho feud.

But that was mainly because of Orton' accident in the UK. If he would have returned at Summerslam as originally scheduled, we may have seen Jericho turn face alot sooner, but who knows?
