Yes, after countless medicals, endless rumors and speculation over the entire summer, Gervinho has finally completed his move to the Emirates Stadium.

In a press conference this morning in Kuala Lumpur, Arsene Wenger said that Gervinho has arrived at London Colney, and "is officially an Arsenal player now."

The Ivorian forward primarily operates on the wings, and can play on both sides of the field. He notched 15 goals and 10 assists for Lille in Ligue 1, and looks to provide Arsenal with more versatility and attacking flair.

Arsenal fans will surely be relieved to hear that the first big signing of the summer is finally done, and the serious transfer business looks to be well underway.

Wenger said that he was not taken to Asia on Arsnal's preseason tour because "he had had no training sessions."

Though the transfer fee is as of now undisclosed, it is believed by ESPN Soccernet to be about £10.6 million.

No word yet on the all-important kit number, however.
