Chris Nelson's Week 9 NFL Game Predictions
Went .500 for the third straight week last week. I might as well just give up.
Last week's record: 7-7
Season record: 65-51 (56.0%)
Bills over Jets - The Bills are a good team and I think they rebound from their loss to Miami with a division game win here.
Bears over Lions - You never know with these divisional games, but I don't see any way the Lions can win here.
Jaguars over Bengals - I'm sure the Bengals will put out a win sometime this year, but that's a pick I'm going to miss.
Ravens over Browns - I can't think of anything to write here so I'm stalling with this.
Titans over Packers - Did I pick Tennessee to lose one week too soon? Perhaps, but after going against them last week I learned my lesson.
Buccaneers over Chiefs - Tyler Thigpen actually showed me might deserve to be in the NFL, but they'll still be missing Larry Johnson and don't have much of a chance against Tampa Bay (or anyone else).
Cardinals over Rams - this could definitely go either way, but I'm going with the favored Cardinals.
Vikings over Texans - It will be interesting to see what Steve Slaton can do against this tough run defense.
Dolphins over Broncos - Despite being 0-7 for the season on Dolphins games, we all know my predictions have no affect on the outcome of this game. The Dolphins offense should have a big day against Denver's abysmal defense, but Porter & Co. will have to pressure Cutler early to avoid a shootout.
Falcons over Raiders - The Falcons got screwed last week, but overall they are playing some pretty good football this season. They'll earn a win against the Raiders.
Giants over Cowboys - Injuries are killing the Cowboys' season, and I can't imagine them beating the Giants down so many important players.
Eagles over Seahawks - The Seahawks played surprisingly well last week, but I don't expect it to continue against Philadelphia.
Colts over Patriots - Not the heavyweight matchup everyone expected due to Brady's injury, but still a very good game and a toss-up given how up-and-down Indy has been.
Steelers over Redskins - I just changed this pick, I don't know why.
