WWE Money in the Bank: What Should Happen (Smackdown Edition)
First thing that should be said, no one really cares about the Smackdown storylines going into Money in the Bank. But I felt it would be appropriate to do a Smackdown edition since there are going to be some Smackdown matches (even if they are completely irrelevant).
First let's go over the main event for Smackdown. The feud between Christian and Randy Orton was attractive at first, but it's becoming very predictable. I have to admit that I didn't see Christian losing the World Heavyweight Championship in two days (not five like they've been trying to sell). But Christian doesn't even look like he has a fighting chance against Orton.

Takeaways From SNME 44 ➡️
Orton beats him cleanly every single time and it's gotten to the point where unless Sheamus or Mark Henry run in to help Christian, then there's no way Orton loses.
And I do think there will be some kind of Sheamus run-in at some point in the match (or he may get added to the title match at the last minute) but either way I think Orton leaves as champion.
Now to the Money in the Bank match itself. I like the idea that the Corre (minus Ezekiel Jackson) are all in this match. But the WWE isn't going to propel Heath Slater or Justin Gabriel to a title match over night. Sin Cara still has a lot of kinks to work out, so he isn't getting the title match either.
So there are three logical options. Daniel Bryan has been used in the worst possible way being on the mid card for so long. But he could put on a great match with Randy Orton (I seriously doubt that Bryan would pull the old wait 'til the Champ's match is over and cash in). Bryan can be just as unpredictable in terms of pulling out a win as Orton.
Wade Barrett can be a top heel on Smackdown. A few months ago he was challenging for the WWE Championship and now this could be his chance to challenge for the World Heavyweight title.
Now the only reason why I doubt he will win is because of the two former Corre members in this match. I'm sure they're going to prevent him from winning this match.
Lastly, there's Sheamus. He is probably the most likely to win this match especially since he's been sticking his bright orange hair in the feud between Orton and Christian. He's already put himself in the title picture so it would only make sense for him to win the MITB match.
Now I'm not sure when the Smackdown winner will cash in, but like I said no one really cares about the Smackdown portion of this event, as all eyes will be on CM Punk and John Cena.
