NBA In The East

With the Eastern Conference improving this year, who will be the top eight seeds. It has been so long since a team from the east has been the team to beat, however last year the Boston Celtics president of operations Danny Ainge  went out and grabbed Kevin Garnet arguably the best player in the NBA and Ray Allen one of the best 3 point shooters of all time. I think the Celtics will continue being the best team In the East and be the 1 seed and have a great chance of repeating for another championship. 

I think the number 2 seed in the Eastern Conference will be the Cleveland Cavaliers not only do they have LeBron James but now they also have a solid point guard as is Maurice Williams. When the Cavs made there run in the playoffs or in the championship they were missing a point guard yes Daniel Gibson played very well and  is a very good point guard, but he is not even starting anymore now that they added Morris Williams. The Cavs have a great starting five with Morris Williams, Delonte West,LeBron James, Ben Wallace and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

I still believe that the Detroit Pistons will be the number 3rd seed and continue being the team they are even with a new coach an a new type of offense. They still have not split the 4 players that have been playing together for 4 years. Who are Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince and Rasheed Wallace. However I do not think the firing of flip Sunders was smart considering he made the Eastern Conference finals 3 years out of his 4 year contract.Michel Curry who is currently the head coach of the Detroit Pistons has very little experience with the team, he has only been the assistant coach one year for the Detroit Pistons. But they still have the big 4 who by now are like brothers.

Even without any moves really I think the number 4th seed in the Eastern Conference will be the Orlando Magic. they have one of the most dominate  big man in the league if not the most dominate big man.They have a great Pf in Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu who really showed every one last year that he could really play.

A team that made a great move this summer and who should be number 5th seed is the Toronto Raptors by brining in Jermaine O'Neal yes everyone says he gets injured but its a new start and he does not need to be the caption of this team. They have Chris Bosh who is an All Star and who i think in the future or maybe this year  will be an All Star is Jose Calderon. 

The Sixers are a team with allot of Talent and i put them in as the number 6th seed first they went out this summer and got Elton Brand who is one of the best basketball players in the NBA. Having him play alongside Andre Miller, Andre Iguodala and Samuel Dalembert  plus some of the guys they have on their bench this is a team that it is very posable to make a run in the playoffs.

With the number 7th seed i choose the Milwaukee Bucks going out and getting Richard Jefferson and Luke Ridnour helps them allot considering they also have Michel Redd and Andrew Bogut. However there is also allot of depth in the Bucks bench which not so many teams have

Finally with the last team to make it in this new Eastern Conference at the number 8th seed is the New York Knicks its been a ruff  couple of years for them and they finally started new by bringing in Mike D'Antoni and getting rid of Isiah Thomas. I no its a rebuilding year but now most have them been playing together for a couple of years and look for this team in the playoffs.
