Mike HodgesJun 29, 2011

Another controversial decision left a bad taste in fans' mouths after judges awarded a victory to Charles Oliveira over Nik Lentz at UFC on Versus 4.

But according to MMAJunkie.com, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission has overturned the decision.

After reviewing the bout over a couple of days, PSAC executive director Greg Sirb confirmed the ruling.

"After review of the tape of this contest and after consultation with the referee, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission has ruled that the results of this match will be changed to a no-contest," the statement said.

Oliveira and Lentz were featured in a preliminary bout during the June 26 event. In the second round, Oliveira landed an illegal knee to his downed opponent that referee Chip Snider failed to see. The illegal blow allowed the Brazilian to lock in a rear-naked choke to pick up the win shortly after.

As a result, Lentz suffered a swollen eye socket that caused his camp to protest the decision.

As a consolation prize, both fighters were awarded "Fight of the Night" bonuses.
