College ATS Report
Just how good is the Big 12 Conference?
It boasts the number one team in the nation, it can stake claim to four of the top five and six of the top 10 offensive units in the country, and in the scoring offense category, numbers two thru six hail from the league.
So is that it? Absolutely not … at least not in my world.
Oklahoma State and Texas are winningest teams in the nation, in terms of betting against the spread.
While the top-ranked Longhorns are 8-0 on the field and have covered seven of those games, 7-1 Oklahoma State is a perfect 7-0 at the window.
From there, we have smaller-conference schools Ball State (8-0 SU, 6-1), Florida International (3-4, 6-1) and Louisiana-Lafayette (4-3, 6-1) bagging the cash.
Big 10 entrants Minnesota (7-1, 6-1) and Penn State (9-0, 6-1-1) have also shown us they’re value possibilities, while the highest-scoring team in the nation – Tulsa – is 8-0 on the field and 6-1 versus bookmakers.
Three teams that have yet to cover a point spread are Wyoming (2-6 and 0-7), Washington State (1-7, 0-7) and Clemson (3-4, 0-5).
In terms of the totals ...
Look for those mortal-lock winners with the over/unders?
Michigan and Rice have gone over five of the six times they’ve had totals posted on their games. Just behind those two are East Carolina, North Carolina and Michigan State, which are all 5-2 over this season.
Texas A&M has only had four totals posted in eight games, but every one of them has gone over.
On the other hand, all four of Clemson’s totals have stayed under.
Georgia Tech, Tennessee and Marshall are all 1-5 under the posted number in eight games played.

The Rockets are 1-4 the last five times they’ve played in Dallas, and are 1-6 the last seven times they’ve faced their Texas rivals.
NHL ICE PICKS
