WWE: How CM Punk Just Put the Entire Wrestling World on Notice *SPOILER ALERT*

Ricky MarteJun 27, 2011

Raw Roulette, Monday, June 27. The day that CM Punk dropped one of the most intense, angry, but most of all truthful promos in WWE history.

Last week on Viewer's Choice Raw, CM Punk announced that when his contract expired that he would leave WWE, and that he would beat John Cena and take the WWE title with him.

This week, CM Punk uneventfully walked out of a match against Kane, and then later cost John Cena a tables match against Raw's resident lunatic R-Truth. However, what happened next was the crazy part.

CM Punk then proceeded to cut a promo in which he bashed the direction of the WWE, the fans, his fans, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and, more importantly, the owner of the company, Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

In this promo Punk did and said many of the taboo things that these entertainers just don't do during this PG era. He blatantly swore, blasted the face of the company and many of the higher ups. The promo got so intense that eventually his microphone was turned off.

I don't have any insider information, nor do I know anyone in the business. This article comes from an ordinary fan, who is wondering if this shoot was a "worked shoot," or if this was real life.

Personally, I believe this was real life, as there were, in my opinion, just too many lines that Punk crossed with what he was saying. This promo just didn't seem to come from the cocky, straight edge CM Punk.

It seemed to come from an angry wrestler, not entertainer, who seems genuinely pissed at how he has been used, and how he is viewed by the higher ups and by all fans, including those who were cheering him.

Just like many other fans, I'm wondering what the deal with this promo. What do you guys think?
