Prince William and Kate Middleton, the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were in the Royal Box on Monday, Day 7 at Wimbledon.

The newlyweds came to watch Andy Murray versus Richard Gasquet, Venus Williams versus Tsvetana Pironkova, and Rafael Nadal versus Juan Martin Del Potro on Centre Court.

The visit had not been planned or announced, and the crowd gave a standing ovation as the lovebirds entered.

They sat in front of tennis legend Billie Jean King, her partner Ilana Kloss, and Sir Mervyn King, who they frequently chatted with between play.

Kate wore a "Wimbledon" white dress and William was in a blue suit and jacket with a red tie. They wore smiles throughout the match, though they were seated far apart and didn't touch.

They even did the wave with the crowd, flailing their hands up with a smile, in the stadium tradition.

They brought the beautiful weather, and an upset, with them. Five-time champion Williams waved goodbye to the All England Court and the royals after her two-set loss to Pironkova.

Murray finished his match with an ace and a bow to Prince William and Kate, who seemed to bring him luck.

This was not Kate's first visit, as she had been to the grass court major in 2008, and Prince William attended the Australian Open last year.
