Remember The Titans, What For?

Joe Burgett Oct 29, 2008

If you saw Monday Night Football you saw the Tennessee Titans beat the Indianapolis Colts, a team that is having a down year, and sure it would have been impressive last year, but this year, not so much.

Sure they are the only unbeaten team in the NFL currently, but who have they beaten? You can't really put the Colts in that conversation, considering that they are not doing that well this year.

But still some are thinking its a huge victory for them. Sure the Colts have basically ruled that division for about 4 years now, but really it was another mediocre win for the Tennessee Titans.

They have the easiest schedule of anyone in the NFL currently. With the Patriots not having their best year, the Colts of course not at their best, the Chargers not being where they should be, it is easy to think they are the best.

Ever since they took Vince Young out and put Kerry Collins in they have been doing well, but Collins has done basically nothing, he has managed the game and not made mistakes. That is pretty much it.

They have a good defense as usual, but that has been around for a while, not just this year. And the offense is not really facing great defenses, I mean can you honestly say the Colts or any team they have faced in their last 7 games have had good defenses?

I know I'd be lieing if I said they the did. They have not been facing great offneses either, we keep thinking that they have faced the Pats of 07 but they haven't faced a legitamite play-off team yet.

If they have faced a team that was in the play-offs last year, it been like the Colts, and they were having a bad year. They will NOT go undefeated this year, their schedule gets a bit rough in Mid-November into December.

So the Titans are going down, and they are NOT I repeat NOT going to the Super Bowl as everyone thinks they are, if they do not beat some legitimate teams as they will coming up.

Who cares if they get to 10-6 and make the play-offs, they only beat bad teams for the 10 wins and got beaten by the good ones for the 6 losses. So look at how they do against them before we crown them the NFL's best team.

Just because they are undefeated currently doesn't mean that it will stay that way. But what do you think are the Titans who everyone thinks they are?
