World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki beat Virginie Razzano 6-1, 6-3 on Friday in 66 minutes for the first win of the day at Wimbledon.

Early in the first set, Razzano was broken at 2-1 and the Dane broke two more times. The first set was a short 26 minutes. Razzano was able to keep serve three times in the final set and save three of four break point opportunities.

Wozniacki's net game and lack of errors were her strengths today. She won 90 percent of her net approaches, hit a single unforced error, and had zero double faults.

She has never made it past the round of 16 at the All England Club.

She will play Jarmila Gajdosova, who beat Andrea Hlavackova 7-6 (1), 6-3, in the third round.
