The latest in the transfer arena is that England International Ashley Young has completed his much anticipated departure from Aston Villa, as he signed a five year contract at the Champions.

Young, who has been on the cards to join rivals Liverpool, is said to come at the bargain of around £16 million. He is the second signing for Sir Alex and the second player to be snatched from Liverpool.

The Mersey-side rivals looked certain to sign both Phil Jones and Young, but it seems the possibility of winning titles and Champions League football has persuaded them to join United.

Nevertheless, as Ferguson looks to rebuild his squad since the departure of some high profile players in Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes, he is certainly looking for quality players, especially players with hunger for victory.

But still many ask the question: Where will Young fit in Manchester setup?

With the likes of Valencia and Nani looking eager to be part of the starting 11, many wonder, will Ashley Young have the necessary impact?

Young scored nine goals last season for Villa with 14 assists—remarkable numbers—yet a huge percentage of United fans are wondering if he's the right man for the job.

United's biggest test will once again be to overcome Barcelona as they look to continue their dominance in World football.

With United target Alexis Sanchez looking to seal a deal at the Nou Camp, Barca seem to be gearing up for yet another demolishing job in Europe.

So will the signing of Ashley Young satisfy the millions of United fans, or will Sir Alex prove many wrong once again with his choice of midfielder?

Will Sir Alex continue to strengthen his squad and bring one "big name" player? While it seems likely that either Luka Modric, Wesley Sneijder or Samir Nasri could still join, Ferguson has surprised everyone consistently.

For those United faithfuls, there's no need for worry or concern with regards to the ability of Young—he brings immense experience, talent and most importantly an eye for goal.

Adding this master of set plays to a lineup already featuring Ferdinand, Vidic, Rooney and Hernandez will further bolster a strong team.

Ferguson looks set to sign David de Gea although no official word on the Spaniard has be made. De Gea seems to be the perfect replacement for van der Sar, although many question his inexperience.
