NBA Fantasy League: The Eliminator, Vol 2

So nothing has changed with my roster since I last updated you guys, although I have offered and been offered quite a few trades.  I looked at acquiring David Lee, Greg Oden and Tyson Chandler due to my lack of bigs (Maxiell, Przybilla and Craig Smith).

There were some tempting offers on the table, but most included Brandon Roy, who I do not want to give up. 

Here is the lineup I will start the season with:

I still think I will be in the top 19 after two weeks, even with my lack of size. I considered benching my centers because I have so little faith in them, but I don't want to put myself in an unnecessary hole. 

Currently one team, UNDISPUTED, has their entire roster benched. I am not sure if this is some Navy Seal mind game, but I am guessing they will put a few guys in before tomorrow. 

Despite my lack of transactions, there has been some good movement around the league.

UNDISPUTED traded Kobe Bryant, Ben Gordon and Kurt Thomas to NYK all day for Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford and Chris Bosh.

UNDISPUTED clearly got more value out of the deal, but getting off to a strong start will prevent them from picking up guys off the booted team, but I imagine they will be using some serious strategy because they've been very active so far.

KingJames traded Marvin Williams and Yi Jianlian for Louis Williams and T.J. Ford with Rockafellas. KingJames then turned around and traded Louis Williams for Larry Hughes with Shootin Stars.


There have been 40 adds/drops so far. Marcus Banks, Allan Houston Charlie Bell has been dropped, picked up, and dropped again. Robin Lopez has been added, dropped and added again. 

With the season about to tip-off, I can hardly contain myself. I'll check back in after we've played a few games. Good luck in all your leagues!
