TNA News: TNA Wrestler Jesse Neal Is on Food Stamps

According to cagesideseats.com, Jesse Neal had several tweets about his current financial situation. He and his live-in girlfriend tweeted back and forth about how they just found out that they qualified for food stamps and how that was great news.

Neal's girlfriend Christina Von Eerie started the tweet string by saying "Things are looking up! Just received some good news!!! :)", to which Neal replied "Yayyyy we qualified for food stamps!!! I can eat now!".

Neal also tweeted about his health care situation stating; "Being on hold with VA for 45mins. SUX!!! But knowing that I have full benefits and getting taking care of.... PRICELESS!!!!"

Jesse Neal served our country in the Navy and survived the USS Cole bombing. I realize we all make choices as to what our career path is, but how can the second biggest wrestling company in the US have one of their wrestlers on food stamps?

I understand the benefits end of things, as the WWE doesn't offer medical benefits to their wrestlers either. Not that I am a fan of that, just in that case his situation would not be different.

Overall, this does not bode well for TNA. Word travels fast in this day and age, so younger talents with less experience may shy away from going there just for some TV time. Hopefully, they will get their act together, drop some of that payroll and focus on the guys they really want to be a part of their company.
