First Fight:Georges St. Pierre V.S. Matt Serra 3

The round starts off with both men feeling each-other out,then St.Pierre comes with a flurry of punches. Serra is doing his best to defend them,but to no luck. St.Pierre and Serra eventually get into a muay thai clinch,after a 10 second stand still,St.Pierre plants a knee right into the chin of Matt Serra. 2:45 left in RD.1. Serra in looking tired,St.Pierre notices and takes advantage. Serra finds himself on the ground with St. Pierre on top doing damage. After 15 seconds of St.Pierre beating Serra's head in, Herb Dean jumps in and stops the madness!

Result: St.Pierre Wins (Round 1) Referee Stoppage!

Second Fight:Diego Sanchez V.S. Josh Koscheck

Both men rush to the center of the octagon,touch gloves and feel each-other out. After 30 seconds of walking circles the crowd gets restless. Both men exchange a few hooks and jabs,with Kos getting the short end of the exchange.Koscheck then takes Diego down,realizing he is losing the stand up battle. Then round expires with Koscheck doing just enough to keep busy on top. Round is 10-9 Koscheck

Second round starts off with Diego letting off shots at Kos's body,he then attempts a leg kick,but misses low and hits Kos's sack(ouch). The ref gives him 5 minutes to heal up,but he only uses 30 seconds and is ready to go again.He attempts a take down only to be stuffed by Diego and hit with a vicious knee to the nose,making it bleed instantly. Koscheck is bother by his bleeding nose and keeps touching it,wiping blood from it. Diego then takes Kos down and hits him with ferocious elbows,the round ends with Diego on top.Round is 10-9 Sanchez

Third Round starts and both men know they need this round. Sanchez throws some hard leg kicks but Koscheck doesn't give a reaction to them. Koscheck comes from nowhere with a superman punch landing it right on Diego's forehead,Diego backs up,and throws a jab at Kos.But Koscheck uses this to try for a take-down,and gets it! While he is trying to ground and pound his way to victory,Diego is working on a triangle from the bottom. The round has 1 minute left,you hear Diego's corner shout,"ONE MINUTE LETS GO!" Diego hears them and trys to stand up using the cage. But Koscheck doesn't let up,both men are trying to leave an impression on the judges,Koscheck throwing elbows and punches. Sanchez trying submission after submission. 30 seconds left Sanchez locks a guillotine,but its not enough Koscheck manages to get out. 19 seconds and both men are visibly tired. They try some half assed attempts,but time eventually expires. Round is 10-9 Koscheck

Result Koscheck Wins By Unanimous Decision

Third Fight:Jon Fitch V.S. Matt Hughes

This fight starts off with Hughes going directly for a take down,but gets stuffed.Fitch is showing superior stand up,landing punch after punch on Hughes. This goes on for 1 minute or so. Hughes is upset,his eye is also starting to swell up. Fitch is looking good in the opening round,but Hughes lands a take down. Hughes goes for an arm bar,but Fitch manages to wiggle out,and back to his feet. He then lands a huge upper-cut and drops Hughes to the mat. He follows with some mean ground and pound and the Ref comes over,and that ends the fight.

Result Fitch Wins Ref Stoppage (Round 1)

Fourth and Final First Round Fight:Thiago Alves V.S. Mike Swick

Both men start the fight with a high five in the middle of the octagon. Alves then backs swick up to a corner,and trys to over whelm him with punches,but Swick keeps his composure and survives. After the barrage of punches Alves trys to clinch with Swick,After landing a few knees to the body,he lets the clinch go. Swick then trys to box wit Alves,both men are pretty equal. A lack luster round is comng to an end,but not before Swick lands a HUGE left that drops Alves to the mat,he then trys to jump on top and finish the fight,but Alves is saved by the bell.10-9 Swick

Second round,Alves is looking gassed,but he does manage to take Swick down,after trying to squirm and roll,Swick mistakenly gives his back up. Alves then like a pit bull goes right for the neck,after some shots to soften him up,he locks a rear naked choke.Swick trys to get out,but he eventually taps.

Second Round Match Ups

Georges St.Pierre V.S. Josh Koscheck 2

Jon Fitch V.S. Thiago Alves

First second round fight is:Georges St.Pierre V.S. Josh Koscheck 2

Koscheck comes out cautiously,remembering the first meeting. St.Pierre comes out trying to stand up with Koscheck,but Koscheck is being very defensive. St.Pierre Eventually lands a body kick to Kos's mid section,making him wince in pain.Then St.Pierre rushes him win a flying knee that lands square on Kos's chin. He looks wobbly,and St.Pierre keeps the pace up by throwing punches. He then takes Koscheck down,and is landing elbows,he eventually gets side control. After landing some vicious hammer fists,the round ends.

Koscheck has a huge cut above his eye,and the doctor comes over to examine it. He then gives Kos the pass to keep fighting, but warns him.

Second round starts Koscheck looks determined,but St.Pierre keeps targeting that injured eye. Kos's eye looks bad,and blood is just pouring out of it,the octagon floor is lookin' like a red carpet at this point.Steve Mazzagati then calls a time out to have the doctor inspect the eye of Koscheck. The ref then signals for the end of the fight,Koscheck yelling in disappointment. St.Pierre's hand is raised.

Result St.Pierre Wins By Doctor Stoppage (Round 2)

Second Fight:Jon Fitch V.S. Thiago Alves

The fight starts and both men are sizing each-other up. They have a brief exchange,then back off. They are throwing jabs back and forth,Alves looking sharp early on. Fitch then trys a spinning back fist,which doesn't land. Alves then throws a hay maker and lands it,Fitch side steps from the blow,Alves follows with a left hook. Fitch holds Alves and trips him for the take down.After some elbows from both men,they are locked in a wrestling match. Yves Lavigne then stands the men back up. They both look tired 25 seconds on the clock,they both land hooks,the round is over.

Second round Fitch comes out guns blazing,he throws a hay maker,but Alves counters with a powerful jab,that lands,and drops Fitch. Fitch is out on his feet,falls down,Alves follows him to the ground,to pound his head with 3 hammer fists. Yves Lavigne then pulls Alves off of Fitch,and the fight is over.

Final Match: Georges St.Pierre V.S. Thiago Alves (5 Rounds)

First round starts with both men showing respect for each-other and not engaging,just trying to find angles out. After 30 seconds or so of feeling out,they engage. St.Pierre the more polished striker lands most of his shots. Alves shoots in for a take down,but St.Pierre sprawls and stuffs him. Alves then trys his hand at striking again. This time does a little better. He has St.Pierre against the fence and is landing big shot after big shot. He opens a cut over St.Pierre's right eye. The round has 10 seconds left,Alves goes for broke,throwing knees,and punches. But luckily for St.Pierre,the bell rings.10-9 Alves

Second round St.Pierre looks to have his mind cleared,and lands some precise shots. His eye looks good,but is swollen up. Alves trys again for a take down,and again is denied,but does get a knee to the face for his troubles. St.Pierre trys for the take down,and has no trouble.From full mount St.Pierre lands some BIG elbows and opens Alves's eye up as well. Both men are pretty bloody.1:15 left in the round,St.Pierre trys to ground and pound Thiago into submission,but Alves does a good job defending.The round finally is over.10-9 St.Pierre

Third Round both men are exchanging shots,St.Pierre getting the best of Alves. St.Pierre then trys a head kick and somehow lands it on the temple of Alves. Alves is momentarily dazed,St.Pierre lands some punishing jabs to the eye of Alves. Midway through the round,Alves trys to kkick St.Pierre,but St.Pierre catches it and takes him down.From the bottom Alves is staying busy,keeping St.Pierre inside his guard,controlling his wrists. The round is 20 seconds from being over,and St.Pierre gets free and trys an arm bar,but Alves is able to with stand,and the bell tolls again.10-9 St.Pierre

Fourth Round both men are running on E at this point. They lock up,looking like they are giving a hug. Alves trys some foot stomps,some land,some don't. St.Pierre is staying composed landing some punches to the side of Alves's head. St.Pierre then breaks off and starts to throw punches. Alves is looking fatigued,but still is throwing shots of his own. St.Pierre is able to get into a muay thai clinch with Alves,and lands some knees,and upper-cuts. Alves's eye is gushing blood,and looks like it has swollen shut. He is trying to survive ,but St.Pierre is like a shark who has smelled blood in the water. With 2:33 left in the round Alves looks like he is in trouble, he is taken down,he rolls but gives up his back in the process. St.Pierre is landing shot after shot to the face of Alves,Herb Dean is closely watching. St.Pierre is relentless with his attack,causing Herb Dean to step in and end the fight.

Result St.Pierre Wins By Ref Stoppage (Round 4)
