Fantasy Football: Why Michael Vick Should Be No. 1 Overall Pick
In standard scoring leagues, the quarterback position scores the most points on a yearly basis compared to any other position. There is also the largest difference in points scored during the season between the highest-scoring quarterback and the tenth- or twelfth-highest scoring quarterback, in comparison to any other position. This means that one of the keys to fantasy success is either acquiring a top-tier quarterback or getting a great value and drafting other positions well. Many later round picks are misses, so the latter method is not a surefire strategy.
For many fantasy leagues, passing yards and touchdowns are rewarded less than rushing yards and touchdowns. Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are the elite at the quarterback position and are generally the first ones drafted. In recent years, Aaron Rodgers has also become a great fantasy quarterback as he adds a fair number of rushing yards to his season passing totals, thus making him a great competitor in that top-tier of fantasy quarterbacks.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This is the same reason why Michael Vick is the unquestioned No. 1 overall pick in fantasy football this upcoming year.
Defenses will struggle much more this year as training camps will be abbreviated and have less time to prepare their defensive players. This fact along with league rules slanting the game towards the offensive side of the ball, a quarterback with the weapons that Vick has, in addition to his several hundred rushing yards and rushing touchdowns make Vick the best quarterback available and thus the best fantasy quarterback.
