Daily Market Wrap Up
Moving Today's Market It's a day off in the World Series, but that doesn't mean there is a day off in the betting market. There are six games being played on ice and one game on the gridiron. The Rangers opened at -120 with Pinnacle, and that has decreased to -108 against the Blue Jackets. The movement came from a Smart Money play on Columbus that was triggered by BetUs (+0.25 units). The public is pounding the side of the Rangers, as they have received 76 percent of the money line wagers. Another game grabbing attention is the Flyers against the Devils. This rivalry opened with the Devils favored -170 at Pinnacle and now at -165. The line has decreased after four Smart Money plays were triggered at various sportsbooks, including TradeSports (+7.52 units), SIA (+0.16 units) and Bet Jamaica (+3.02 units). A Steam Move also triggered play on Philadelphia at Bet Jamaica (+0.1 units). Even with all this movement on the Flyers, the Devils still received 67 percent of the public's money line wagers. The one game scheduled tonight on the gridiron is Boise State visiting San Jose State. Boise State is looking to go 7-0 and get one step closer to an undefeated season. Last season they defeated San Jose State 42-7, and opened at -7 with Pinnacle. The line has moved around but is back at -7, despite 71 percent of the spread wagers are on Boise State. The line is staying around that number because San Jose State has received numerous Smart Money plays, including one at Carib Sports (+3.70 units) and ThePig (+0.10 units).
