Washington Redskins: John Beck, Rex Grossman Statistical Predictions for 2011
With the Washington Redskins upcoming season will come a quarterback controversy, I can all but guarantee you that.
Forget about Donovan McNabb though, because he won’t be in the picture.
It looks like the ‘Skins starting quarterback position is going to come down to two underwhelming candidates.
John Beck and Rex Grossman.
Even though neither of them has been officially given the starting position, I have a feeling that Grossman might get the nod at the start of the season due to experience.
That being said, I feel Beck is going to get his share of time under center as well. Unfortunately for Redskin fans, that probably won’t be a good thing either way.
Here are statistical predictions for John Beck and Rex Grossman.

Rex Grossman Att: 212 Comp: 124 Comp %: 58.5

Conclusion

I think it's going to be a rough year for both quarterbacks.
I think Grossman will get the start at the beginning of the season, but will eventually give way to the more talented Beck.
Either way, i'm not feeling too confident in the Redskins quarterback situation.
