College Football 2011: 5 Reasons Why Arizona State Has Best Football Experience
History. Legacy. Traditions. Winning.
Screw it, I'll take beautiful weather, gorgeous women and great parties over Woody Hayes and the Four Horsemen any day.
If someone is looking for a great weekend, that includes some college football, Arizona State University has the total package and unlike most schools won't bore you to death after the game.
So while the wins may be few and far between, come take a look at five reasons why Sun Devil Stadium and Arizona State University provide the best college football experience.
5. The Weather

Forget the frozen tundra, Arizona State offers luscious green grass and summer days, all year round.
While it can get a little too hot during the dog days of August, forget about that dry heat stuff; once the middle of September rolls around it's 88 and sunny all day.
Fans of offense won't be disappointed as perfect playing conditions are the norm. Worries about slippage due to frozen fields and dropped passes from the rain are not a concern to the Arizona State fan.
Of course, all that beautiful weather lends itself to year-round tanning and pool parties. Can't get much better than that.
4. Sparky

You can't beat Sparky.
Honestly, I thought Sparky was cool before, but then I read on the Arizona State university homepage that Sparky is not just a Sun Devil, but specifically an "Imp with a trident."
Really, an Imp.
After further research, I discovered that Imps are "mythological beings similar to fairies and demons," even seen as immortal. Plus the guy has a mustache.
Top that, Wolverines.
3. The Team Isn't That Bad

O.K. so they haven't exactly set the Pac-10 (now the Pac-12) on fire, but you can be sure that your going to see big numbers on the board when you attend at Sun Devil game.
ASU averaged 32.3 points per game last year and head coach Dennis Erickson has brought his "Air Express" offense to Tempe.
As long as Erickson is in charge, expect to see the Sun Devils rank among the country's highest-scoring teams. If only they gave out championships for that.
2. The Parties

Nobody parties like ASU.
Whether it's the summer-like year-round weather, the major city of Phoenix right next door or just a student body that was bred to party, a trip to Tempe will never leave a person disappointed.
Club parties, pool parties and apartment parties are all available in addition to your traditional dorm and frat parties of Big State University. Major party groups such as Dayglow regularly visit the campus.
The fun never stops at ASU and an entertaining evening at Sun Devil Stadium will just be the beginning of your night.
1. The Beautiful People

Isn't this what everything always boils down to? If a place has beautiful women, count me in.
As a person who has been to Arizona State University many times, let me tell you, they very well deserve their title as the winner of Popcrunch's Hottest Student Bodies.
Try as I may I can't do any better than what Popcrunch said when describing the overwhelming high percentage of hotties at ASU, when they said "A website/calendar company called Tempe12 started by selling a calendar filled with hot Arizona State women out of a guy’s bedroom, and was so successful it's now a large and thriving business. That tells you everything you need to know."
Yes, indeed it does.
