Eric Bischoff on Impact Wrestling's Ratings

Eric Bischoff, a man who loves nothing more than running his mouth about how much he despises people in the IWC, posted the following on Facebook, discussing Impact Wrestling's recent ratings:

"What the 10%'ers and the dirtsites that feed them don't want to report: Per Spike TV, Impact Wrestling was the #1 cable show in its time period among M18-49 despite under-delivering its STD average among key demos and TNA increased from its Jail (rpt) lead-in by +129% in M18-49 (.78), with an additional +6% gain in the following quarter hour. TNA peaked in the 10:15p quarter with a .99 in M18-49."

What Bischoff is forgetting is that TNA is only around because those "10%'ers" watched it on the internet back in the day and pushed the company to where it is now, similar to the recent rise of Ring of Honor.

Also, he's comparing TNA to the rest of the Spike TV shows, which average about a .5, of course Impact Wrestling was Spike's top-rated show.

He went on to say during his Monday Radio Show that TNA "outperformed the UFC"

To this I respond that the UFC shows being compared were reruns of UFC's The Ultimate Fighter, and that if you were to compare the PPV buys it wouldn't even be close. (UFC posts over a million buys regularly, and TNA doesn't reporting theirs, which is another way of saying they were terrible)

TNA's overall ratings this week were down to a 1.1 this week after posting a 1.2 the week before.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is the Broski of the Week

Stone Cold Steve Austin posted the following on his twitter account last night:

"Had a chat with the one and only @ZackRyder last night...what a broski...a damn good kid with a bright future...woo woo woo..."

Had a bit of a mark out moment when I read this. Maybe Stone Cold can help "The Long Island Iced Z" get a bit of a push in the company, he's not afraid to tell the WWE who to push and they take his opinion seriously when it comes to his eye for talent.

3 Matches Set For ROH's 'Best In The World' PPV

Ring of Honor is reporting that the following 3 matches will take place at their June 26th PPV, "Best in the World 2011".

ROH World Title Match: Eddie Edwards © vs. Davey Richards
ROH TV Title Match: Christopher Daniels © vs. El Generico
ROH World Tag Team Title Match: Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin © vs. The Kings of Wrestling vs. The Briscoes vs. The All Night Express

For my money, the Daniels/Generico match has the potential to be one of the best of the year, and the Tag Team Triple Threat Match will be great. I'll definitely be buying this PPV at the low price of 15 dollars.
