Inter Milan and Udinese Discuss Exchange of Alexis Sanchez
According to FoxSoccer.com, Inter Milan is discussing the future and possible acquisition of Alexis Sanchez with Udinese.
The President of Inter Milan (Massimo Moratti) has expressed his hope in acquiring Sanchez, but it will not be an easy task. The Premier League clubs of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have all expressed an interest in Sanchez, although Manchester City has withdrew its bid for the Chilean winger.
FC Barcelona and Juventus have also expressed an interest in the services of Sanchez. The possibility exists that Udinese will not release Sanchez if the team obtains a place in the UEFA Champions League berth for 2011-2012.
In the past (according to TribalFootball.com), Ivan Zamorano (another legend from Chile who once played for Inter Milan) talked with Sanchez and advised him to sign with Inter Milan. According to another news segment from FoxSoccer.com, Inter Milan received a boost when Eto'o expressed his intention of remaining with the team.
Eto'o made clear his decision taking into account the racial abuse he received from supporters of the opposing teams. It remains to be seen what will transpire for Inter Milan in the 2011-2012 Serie A Season.
