Warrior Creates the Ultimate Twitter Page; Will This Kill Hulkamania?

Gone Baby GoneJun 2, 2011

The Ultimate Warrior joined twitter over Memorial Day weekend.

Obviously, he is still attempting to get some attention and catch his former foe Hulk Hogan's eye, as his very first tweet was " Karma is coming to collect Terry."

That tweet was playing off of a video that he made in response to Hogan talking trash about Warrior in a recent interview.

This is just one of a long line of verbal battles between Warrior and Hogan. As I reported earlier this week, Hogan and Warrior have been using the Internet to continue their feud. Both men have been living in the past and have been at odds for over 20 years.

Hogan has been bitter about losing to Warrior at WrestleMania VI, while Warrior has been defending his win ever since.

After Warrior hung up his tights, he became a motivational speaker. He cut his long hair and shied away from his wrestling past. The only thing he kept was the name Warrior.

He legally changed his name to Warrior in order to end an intellectual property lawsuit with the WWE. Warrior all but faded into obscurity until 2005, when the WWE released a DVD called "The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior."  This DVD did not bode well with "The Ultimate One," as is put him in a negative light.

Many WWE legends talked about Warrior's lack of wrestling skill and nonsensical over the top promos. Since then, the WWE has been attempting to bring Warrior back in the fold. It's speculated that they want to induct him into the Hall of Fame.

However, Warrior has declined to be a part of WWE.

Prior to this web war with Hogan, Warrior appeared to be once again moving on from wrestling, as he took part in spoken word track for metal band "Wind of Plague."  Hopefully, this little war will end soon, as it is really getting sad that Warrior won't and can't move on from the past.

Granted this last argument Hogan started, but Warrior really has to let this go.
