If you read The Extra 2% by Jonah Keri, you would have learned that one of things the Tampa Bay Rays organization has done to make their games more fan-friendly is adding a series of concerts to be played after home games. As a matter of fact, the Rays have more postgame concerts than any team in baseball.

Apparently on Saturday night, Avril Lavigne didn’t believe in having a fan-friendly concert.

During her postgame concert on Saturday night at The Trop, Lavigne went into a profanity-laced tirade while she was having microphone malfunctions at the beginning of her show. She also complained about doing a concert at a “baseball game” according to the St. Petersburg Times.

I am going to venture to say Lavigne won’t be asked back by the Rays anytime soon. Plus, if they are going to have a crappy Canadian singer put on a show after the game, they might as well bring in Justin Bieber.
