🚨Sabres Force Game 7 vs. Habs

We have issues… And not business issues

Nate SantoianniOct 20, 2008

Okay, so we know about the problems that the Columbus Blue Jackets are facing early this season.  Let’s hope for their sake (literally, they’ll move because all the fans are sick and tired, and they’ll lose too much money) that they can right the ship of progress (and I know one writer who knows where that points to) on to the cool stuff this weekend.

I was able to hang out with defenseman Mike Commodore on Saturday night for a while at Spice bar downtown.  This guy is one social player.  They land from Nashville, and immediately he goes out to the bar scene on park st.  Anyway we talked about columbus night life, a little bit of hockey, and just whatever came up.  He bought me a beer and we just talked like two normal people, only he reminded me somewhat of a giant.  Pretty big guy once you’re next to him, and very friendly.  Just a class act guy.  Most professional sports players wouldn’t hang out with random fans, and talk about life.  This was by far one of the coolest things I have experienced.

We’ve got the Canucks onboard for another show in Nationwide.  Let’s hope we can pull it together.  Like I’ve said I feel this team has a great danger of not developing together and really falling off the wagon.  Our goaltending must get better, and we need to play a simple game.  Check, make the simple play, go hard to the net, and shoot often.  Seriously get it together guys…  Or face becoming the Las Vegas Blue Jackets.
