UFC 90 Preview And Prediction
Josh Burkman versus Pete Sell
Josh Burkman is good enough to win this one, that's pretty much my only opinion on this fight...I guess I am kinda glad it's not televised.
Josh Burkman, by decision
Hermes Franca versus Marcus Aurelio
Hermes Franca is a seriously tough fighter, but there is a serious problem with his matches getting finished.
Hermes Franca, by decision
Dan Miller verses Matt Horwich
I have only seen Dn Miller fight once...Horwich, never as I can recall...
Miller, by submission...that's what he has done every fight I have ever watched of his.
Spencer Fisher versus Shannon Gugerty
I almost always give the fight to Spencer Fisher, and this time is no different. Shannon Gugerty has a lot of promise, but not enough to beat Fisher, not yet.
Fisher, by TKO
Thales Leites versus Drew McFedries
Once again two fighters that I haven't really paid much attention to lately, Drew McFedries at one time was thought of by me as someone who could some day be something big, but then he kinda fizzled. I really don't care that much for Leites either, and I don't care how many submission world championships he's won or anything like that.
Leites, by submission
Sean Sherk versus Tyson Griffin
I would never predict Sherk to win a fight. Sherk is a cheater, and a liar on top of that...At least Franca was man enough to admit he was doping.
Tyson Griffin, by decision
Fabricio Werdum versus Junior Dos Santos
Werdum has excellent skills , and I think that may be enough to pull him through this fight.
Werdum, by submission
Rich Clementi versus Gray Maynard
I can't stand either fighter here. Clementi's attitude, and Gray knocking himself out, and saying oh no I'm just resting...like an eight year old on Saturday night when his mommy lets him stay up late, no I'm not sleeping, just resting my eyes.
A boring decision, probably Clementi
Josh Koscheck verses Thiago Alves
Josh Koscheck will try his normal lay and pray routine, but I don't think this fight will be taken to the ground by him. Thiago will make weight for this fight, or maybe not...either way he is an actual top ten fighter at 170 Kos is maybe in the top fifteen.
Alves, by KO
Anderson Silva versus Patrick Cote
I thought about picking Cote, to stir up a few comments on here, but I figured I am not going to do that.
Silva, by KO
This time I decided to give my predictions, but this PPV card is very lackluster, so it is hard to look deep into any of these fights, since there are so many mediocre match ups on here.
