UFC 130 Fight Card: "Rampage" Jackson's 10 Most Memorable Moments on Youtube

First LastMay 27, 2011

When former UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson steps into the Octagon this Saturday to face Matt "The Hammer" Hamill, fans will be remembering him for the explosive finishes he usually brings to his fights.

Outside of the cage, he is an outgoing, funny and sometimes serious person with a lot of charisma and character. He took that onto the big screen last year when he stared in the movie A-Team.

These 10 videos feature some of the best moments of his 12-year professional fighting career, including knockouts, backstage interviews and Ultimate Fighter moments.

No. 10: Rampage Visits Marines at Camp Pendleton

1 of 10

Located on the Southern California Coast in San Diego County, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is one of the major coast bases in the United States.

There are 12 major coast bases and over 200,000 active Marines as of October 2010.

In 2008, Jackson visited the camp shortly after successfully defending his light-heavyweight title against Dan Henderson.

Professional fighters have been making their way to military bases around the world, and the UFC has even taken their brand to Fort Hood for their UFC Fight for the Troops 2 show.

No. 9: Rampage Discuss MMA and Boxing with Zab Judah

2 of 10

Shortly before his title bout with Henderson, "Rampage" met one of boxing's best in Zab Judah, a former undisputed welterweight champion, for an ESPN interview.

The two met to discuss boxing and MMA and the differences between the two, including how each other would do against the other sport's best and which sport has the better commentators.

If only James Toney had the same attitude towards MMA as Judah does.

No. 8: Sports Science Measures Jackson's Punching Power

3 of 10

Jackson first appeared on ESPN's Sports Science in October 2007 to test his punching power. The Fox Sports Net Channel show, hosted by Jack Brinkus, has featured several UFC champions, including Cain Velasquez, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Georges St-Pierre.

Fourteen of Jackson's 31 victories have come by knockout. He has knocked out the likes of Wanderlei Silva, Chuck Liddell, Kevin Randleman and Marvin Eastman.

No. 7: Rampage Jackson vs. Door

4 of 10

One of the most memorable moments from the tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter occurred on Episode 7 when Rampage decided to take out his frustrations on a door.

Scott Junk had just been defeated by Matt Mitrione, and it was one of many defeats Jackson's team had to deal with on the show.

His team only won one fight in the first stage of the tournament.

No. 6: Rampage's Chuck Liddell Impression

5 of 10

Besides being a serious and fierce competitor in the cage, there is a humorous side to Rampage. This impression of his former opponent, Chuck Liddell, is one of the best.

He fought the UFC Hall of Famer twice. The first came inside the Pride Fight Championship ring, while the second came in the UFC in a light-heavyweight title bout.

Jackson won the first fight by TKO and the second by KO.

No. 5: Bas Rutten Steals Rampage's Chicken

6 of 10

In another one of Jackson's entertaining interviews, and he has had many of them, Bas Rutten stops at his dressing room as he prepares to face Ikuhisa "The Punk" Minowa, whom he admits he thought was called "manure."

The fight took place at Pride Shockwave 2003, which featured a super-bout between Royce Gracie and Hidehiko Yoshida.

Jackson won his fight by TKO in the first round.

No. 4: Rashad Evans and Rampage Have a Faceoff on Ultimate Fighter

7 of 10

The faceoff between Rashad Evans and Rampage on the 10th season of The Ultimate Fighter was the most memorable moment from the show.

The bad blood was previewed in their faceoff at UFC 96 after Evans' teammate was defeated by Jackson, but this was the most intense one.

They eventually fought at UFC 114, and Evans won a unanimous decision after three rounds.

No. 3: Rampage Knocks Out Kevin Randleman

8 of 10

Jackson had been on a three-fight win streak when he took on former UFC heavyweight champion Kevin Randleman.

"The Monster" was coming off five victories, including three by knockout.

Shortly before the seven-minute mark in the first round, Rampage unleashed his vicious left hook and sent Randleman crashing to the canvas. He didn't last much longer and was knocked out.

No. 2: Rampage Gets Redemption Against Wanderlei Silva

9 of 10

In one of the best grudge matches the UFC ever had, Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva took on Jackson at the 2008 end-of-the-year card at UFC 92.

Silva had defeated him twice before, both by knockout. The animosity between the two was visible in pre-fight interviews and was witnessed at the weigh-ins as Silva shoved the former champion.

Rampage got his revenge, and it came by the power of his left hook once again.

That is one punch Hamill has no intentions of feeling on Saturday night.

No. 1: Rampage Unleashes His Most Famous Slam

10 of 10

Fans haven't seen it in a while, and with only one of Jackson's last five fights not going to the distance, they want to see him knock someone out.

It's been an even longer time since fans have seen one of his trademark slams, which are the cause of some of the most devastating knockouts in MMA history.

He unleashed this one against Ricardo Arona in 2004, and it is still the most brutal slam to this day.
