WWE Over the Limit: Kiss My Foot Match and the 15 Grossest Things in WWE History

Robert AitkenMay 21, 2011

Tomorrow night at Over The Limit, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler will take part in a Kiss My Foot match. This will hopefully be the end of this feud that has seemingly been going on forever. There may not be a more disgusting way for this feud to end.

While showing us a lot of great matches over the years, WWE has also shown us a lot of gross and vomit-inducing images. It's a little difficult to truly make a list of the most disgusting, let alone rank them, but I will try my best. I know that there are probably some other notables that will be left out. For those images that you can't unsee that don't make the cut, feel free to mention them in the comments section and make us hate you for reminding us.

15) Tyler Reks' Hair

1 of 15

Tyler Reks has always worn dreadlocks since joining WWE. Heel or face, those things were pretty impressively long. Once he turned heel, however, Reks seemed to begin to put things in the hair. Be it hair ties, what seemed like electrical tape or pieces of leather, or anything else that he seemed to find, there was a lot of random stuff in that hair.

I could only imagine what is really in those dreads that Reks doesn't even know about. His hair is starting to look like a Katamari ball.

14) Mae Young Births Hand

2 of 15

This was a strange storyline from the very beginning. Mark Henry dates an elderly woman. Mark Henry gets said elderly woman, who is in her 80s, pregnant. Elderly woman tries to give birth, but all that comes out is a slimy human hand.

I guess this is how Thing from The Addams Family was created.

13) Big Dick Johnson

3 of 15

I never really got this, but I would be remiss to not laugh at it. Big Dick Johnson, a member of the WWE Creative team, would grease himself up and do his best impression of Party Boy from Jackass.

Let's all just be glad that they didn't have him wrestle and win any matches. That would have made this a terrible idea. Instead, it was just a bad one...and a gross one.

12) Pat Patterson's Underwear

4 of 15

Do you think that Rikishi still remembers what happened to him on May 8, 2000? It was on that night that Pat Patterson, the original Intercontinental Champion, performed a stinkface on Rikishi. To add insult to injury, Patterson stripped to his underwear after a DX attack and performed the move in the turnbuckle in his "tighty whiteys" with a skid mark.

If you don't recall, just search "Pat Patterson Underwear" on YouTube. And yes, Patterson used "I Am A Real American" as his theme back then.

11) Legacy of Chris Benoit

5 of 15

This can be on the list depending on which way you look at it. Chris Benoit's actions at the end of his life were disgusting in their own right. Perhaps what was equally disgusting was WWE's lack of remembrance for Benoit after the details began to leak.

WWE has been notorious for distancing themselves from deaths of former employees, especially when illegal substances or trauma linked to working with the company ends up playing a factor.

10) Spirit Squad Covered by "Feces"

6 of 15

I couldn't find a good picture of this, but it was when DX staged some feces to fall onto Vince and Shane McMahon, as well as the entire Spirit Squad. It was right at the end of the Spirit Squad's run on television and was probably the beginning of DX officially not being edgy anymore.

I know that it wasn't actual human waste, but the simple idea that it could or should be was just gross. I don't care what it is, I wouldn't want it being poured on me. The only thing that would have made the moment more legendary would be if one of them began to vomit live on TV. If it really were feces, that would be almost automatic.

9) Jim Ross's Colon Surgery

7 of 15

Few things bring more heat to someone than to make fun of Jim Ross. Ross has had a lot of health issues in his life, especially since joining WWE. His Bell's palsy attacks alone are scary enough for WWE fans to think about. When Ross needed colon surgery in real life, WWE made light of it and had a long segment of Vince McMahon pulling things out of "Jim Ross's colon." It was filled with fart jokes and was just a waste of time.

It seems to me that Jim Ross lets WWE and Vince McMahon get away with a lot of jokes at his expense. I don't know if McMahon just has a problem with Ross or Good ole JR just is nice enough to put himself in these situations.

8) Jillian Hall's Mole Thing

8 of 15

It was fake, sure. It was still gross to look at. What would possess them to say "sure, Jillian Hall. We will make you a member of the main roster, but only if you wear this model of an animal cell from biology class on your cheek."

What made it worse was that they got rid of it by having The Boogeyman bite it off. If only every mistake that WWE made could be bit off...

That gives me an idea...

7) Kiss My Foot Match

9 of 15

Seriously, what is wrong with Michael Cole's foot?

Why does this match matter so much that it is on this card? There are already eight matches on the Over the Limit card, which officially makes this the ninth-ranked match that I would like to see on Sunday. That's right, show me the dark match over this goofy thing. It will take way too much time and take minutes away from great things like Sin Cara's PPV debut against Chavo Guerrero.

Maybe The Boogeyman can return and bite this thing off of Michael Cole's foot too.

6) Val Venis Gets Castrated

10 of 15

There is nothing that WWE could do to have an odder way to end an episode of Monday Night RAW. Nothing.

You know the story by now:

Val Venis sleeps with the girl in the picture, who was the guy with the sword's wife in storyline. In retaliation, Kaientai takes Val Venis and castrates him. A bad joke about "shrinkage" is used to explain why Val is fine the week later.

Even if this was fake, it was just odd and disgusting to think about. Castration is not a funny thing, ladies.

5) Vickie Guerrero Gets Naked

11 of 15

I still don't know what to make of this thing. I want to believe that Vickie Guerrero did not really take any naked pictures, but you just never know.

This is not to call Vickie gross because she is in a lot better shape now than she was back then. This definitely made me take a step back and contemplate why I was putting myself through watching this stuff.

4) Vince McMahon's Kiss My Ass Club

12 of 15

Is Vince McMahon's ego in such peril that he feels the need to have people literally kiss his ass on live television?

VInce McMahon had many people attempt to put their lips on his rear with some success and some failures. In the end, everyone lost.

3) Snitsky's Teeth and Face

13 of 15

Gene Snitsky was always very talented, but they never gave him much to work with as a monster heel. Their best attempt had him look this awful. It looked like his teeth were made out of butter and that the grease on his face was from taking the same butter and rubbing it all over himself.

Where is Irwin R. Schyster when you need him?

2) Mae Young's Breasts

14 of 15

Lucky for me, I seem to not really recall Mae Young's breasts being shown on a pay-per-view. If you do, I apologize and hope that you get a good deal on your return to therapy.

1) Montreal Screwjob

15 of 15

It may seem like a cop out, but this blurred the line between kayfabe and storyline. Backstage politics came through the curtain as well that night and it is still a black eye on professional wrestling, even if Bret Hart has forgiven the company. It is still the grossest thing that I have ever seen associated with WWE.
