Montreal Canadiens Sign Alexei Emelin
Hot off the presses, I just got the press release from the Montreal Canadiens' PR department announcing that the Habs have signed Alexei Emelin.
Click here to read the release.
So, as Bob McKenzie said last week, the kid is finally coming over to North America. I would also think that this means an Andrei Markov signing will be announced within the next few weeks, as Markov will surely be looked to mentor the young, talented Emelin.
More later, but for now, what are your thoughts?
Here is the Habs' D so far:
Subban, Spacek and Emelin.
Thoughts? Comments? How long till Markov gets signed and who gets signed after him?
