UFC 131 Fight Card: The Top 10 Kenny Florian Videos on YouTube
At UFC 131, Kenny Florian will take on Diego Nunes in a fight that could determine the next top contender in the featherweight division.
The fight will be Florian's first at featherweight after beginning his UFC career as a middleweight on Season 1 of The Ultimate Fighter.
Having been hired as an analyst on ESPN's MMA Live, Florian has one of the more engaging personalities in MMA, and it shows in his 10 best videos on YouTube.
10. Weird "Interview" with Kurt Pellegrino
1 of 10"Don't talk back to me!"—Kenny Florian
I'm really not even sure what to say about this one.
I'm don't know what prompted this "interview" to be filmed, but I hope there was alcohol involved.
9. Teaching MMA to Police Officers
2 of 10"These techniques could literally save a police officer's life."—Connecticut police officer
In this video, Florian took some time to give some MMA tips to Connecticut police officers in hopes that it could help the policemen defend themselves in real-life situations.
During the one-day clinic, Florian demonstrated a rear naked choke on news reporter Jim Altman.
8. Talking Street Fighting with Dr. Phil
3 of 10"Kenny Florini"—Dr. Phil
In this video, Florian appears on Dr. Phil to try to teach kids that it isn't safe to be participating in unsupervised fights with one another.
Florian is joined on the show by Forrest Griffin and UFC President Dana White.
Despite making street fighting Internet sensation Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson the face of Season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter, White told Dr. Phil, "Fighting on the street is not the way to get into the UFC." To be fair, though, White did refuse to sign Ferguson until he proved he was actually serious about MMA.
7. Getting Robbed
4 of 10This video comes from UFC 101 in August 2009, as Florian made his way down to the octagon for his fight against UFC Lightweight Champion B.J. Penn.
Not only did Florian end up losing the fight against Penn, but he also had his hat stolen by a fan as he exited the tunnel.
6. Reacting to Kurt Pellegrino's Mustache
5 of 10"Sorry Fabricio Camoes, I think I just signed your death warrant."—Kenny Florian
Here's another strange, yet humorous video featuring Florian and Pellegrino. Prior to Pellegrino's UFC 111 fight with Fabricio Camoes, he experimented with the classic porn mustache.
Pellegrino looked much different come fight night, when he had no facial hair and dyed blond hair. Pellegrino did earn a submission victory over Camoes, though.
5. Playing Street Fighter with Dave Camarillo
6 of 10"I tried to get too fancy."—Kenny Florian
Florian just can't ever seem to reach the top of the mountain. After being dominated by Dave Camarillo in the first fight on this video, the second game of Street Fighter was a microcosm of Florian's UFC career.
Much like he has with capturing the UFC Lightweight Championship, Florian came so close to victory, but he came up short in the end.
4. Punching Mark Delagrotte in Slow Motion
7 of 10"This is the first time I get to hit you and not get hit back."—Kenny Florian
If UFC President Dana White isn't able to complete a potential deal to purchase G4, he could always look into purchasing the Discovery Channel to be the cable television home of the UFC.
On this Discovery Channel program, Kenny Florian punches his coach, Mark Delagrotte, to see the impact through a slow motion camera.
3. Reading "Questions" from Kurt Pellegrino's Twitter Account
8 of 10"#$*@#&# *#@"—Kurt Pellegrino's Twitter followers
This video came prior to Pellegrino's most recent fight with Gleison Tibau, which just so happened to be the final fight of his career, as he recently retired.
Florian reads some fan messages from Pellegrino's Twitter, but Pellegrino mostly just gets made fun of for the most part.
2. Answering "Questions" from Twitter
9 of 10"#$*@#&# *#@"—Kenny Florian's Twitter followers
After reading Twitter messages to Pellegrino, it is Florian's turn to hear some feedback from his fans.
Instead, he mostly just gets made fun of by some keyboard warriors.
1. Highlight Video
10 of 10Yes, there are actually videos of Florian fighting on YouTube as well.
Here is a highlight video of Florian's career with the UFC. What a career it has been, and it could become an even greater career if Florian is able to capture a title at featherweight.
