TNA Sacrifice 2011 : Bleacher Report Prediction League

Josh LoganMay 14, 2011

TNA Sacrifice is exactly what it sounds like.  Tonight men and women will sacrifice their bodies and their pride to gain the upper hand on their opponent.

Blood will be spilled, bodies will be broken, and a family will further separate itself from one another.

TNA has introduced Impact Wrestling and more surprises are surely on their way.

Immortal looks to take home some gold tonight while Fortune looks to remain "King of the Mountain."

It is time for the Bleacher Report Prediction League!

These people need to participate in this league event or they will be removed, with a chance to return the next PPV after being removed:

Dwan Jonson
Kendrick Davis
Angelo Sayre
Jari Jasmin
Toby Fox
Daniel Newsome

Before we get started, let me just explain some rules and guidelines for the league and we will jump right on into predicting the future of the TNA.

ANYONE CAN JOIN THE LEAGUE AT ANY TIME! If you miss this PPV or someone couldn't make it, that's okay, you can join in on the next one.

Each PPV will be worth up to 30 points. No match will be worth more than five points. There will not be bonus questions worth points this year.

I would like you if you can to give a reason for why you are picking who you are picking to win, this way we can create more debate and conversation for the league. And if there is debate, please be respectful to your fellow league competitors or you will be removed from the league.

The Underdog Award, the person/persons who predicts the least predictable match, will be worth an extra three points.

The results of each Prediction League will be posted by Wednesday of each following week, so get on me to get them out this year, ha ha.

Congratulations again to last PPV's co-winners: Zidane Hadi and IMissMarkingOut

Also don't forget that this week competitors will receive supplemental points on top of their actual point earnings to make things fair with newcomers receiving the mean of each PPV prior added to their score.

So what this means is that a percentage of your points for this PPV will be added to your actual PPV points to help even up the league and make it more competitive.

On to the Prediction League:

Match 1 - TNA World Heavyweight Champion Sting vs. Rob Van Dam - 4 points

(Sting and RVD haven't had a clean match against each other because Anderson took out RVD with a pipe from Hogan at Lockdown, and Hogan has been making Sting and RVD's lives hard. Anderson is the No. 1 Contender for whoever wins the match.)

Match 2 - (Mixed Tag Match) Kurt Angle and Chyna vs. Jeff and Karen Jarrett - 3 points

(Jeff and Karen, Kurt's ex-wife, Jarrett have been making Kurt's life a living hell, and Karen cost Kurt the match at Lockdown.  So Kurt took it upon himself to find someone to take out Karen so he and Jeff could settle things like men.  Karen scoured the Knockouts locker room trying to find her, but Kurt introduced her last Impact.)

Match 3 - TNA Tag Team Champions Beer Money (Robert Roode and James Storm) vs. Matt Hardy and Chris Harris - 4 points

(They wanted the Hardy Boys, but instead Matt Hardy introduced Chris Harris, James Storm's old partner.  This is going to be personal.)

Match 4 - TNA X-Division Champion Kazarian vs. Max Buck - 3 points

(Max Buck won the No. 1 Contendership at Lockdown, but there hasn't really been much leading up to the match.)

Match 5 - AJ Styles vs. Tommy Dreamer - 3 points

(Dreamer came to save AJ from a Bully Ray beat down, but instead piledrove him into the mat.)

Match 6 - Mexican America (Hernandez and Anarquia) vs. Ink Inc. (Jesse Neal and Shannon Moore) - 2 points

(Ink Inc. saved an announcer from being beaten by Mexican America two weeks ago.)

Match 7 - Abyss vs. Crimson - 2 points

(Crimson saved RVD from an Abyss beatdown and the next week Crimson received an Abyss beat down. Crimson beat Abyss and Samoa Joe going into the PPV and Abyss laid out Crimson.)

Match 8 - Robbie E vs. Brian Kendrick - 1 point

(I honestly don't know why this match is happening..........)

Match 9 - (If Mickie wins Tara is free from Madison) TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James vs. Madison Rayne - 3 points

(Tara and Madison have been having problems as of late. Mickie beat Madison quickly at Lockdown due to an injury.  Madison challenged Mickie two weeks ago for the belt. Mickie beat Madison last week in a tag match.)

Copy and Paste the below template into the comment section and then fill in your answers with possibly some sort of reason for each pick.
