Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson and That Yappy Sean Foley

Tom EdringtonMay 11, 2011

Heaven forbid, Bubba Watson did the unthinkable.

He spoke ill of the Holy Cow.

Bubba said something about the Holy Cow, aka Eldrick Tont Woods. Bubba actually said something that crossed his mind and now he had to answer to Eldrick's "camp" and not only that, Bubba is being barked at by that yappy little lap dog named Sean Foley.

Yes, it's the Players Championship but the TPC Sawgrass is serving as the set for that ongoing soap opera that is the life of Eldrick On The Mend, golf's favorite and most popular reality show.

Heavens to Betsy, Bubba, who has been on a roll this year, mentioned something about His Eldrickness heading in the "wrong direction" with his reconstructed golf game.

Enter Foley, that annoying little twit.

"He has the right to his own opinion but you probably shouldn't make comments about a guy who has won 69 more times than you and you are virtually the same age. You know what I mean," chirped Foley, who simply won't keep his mouth shut and you have to wonder how long he's going to last with Woods at this rate.

One of the VERBOTEN credos of the Woods "camp," one of the long-time holy commandments of the Tiger Tablets, is Thou Shalt Not Draw Attention To Thyself When Working For Woods.

Bubba already broke the commandment Thou Shalt Not Speak Ill of the Holy Cow.

Amidst all this latest Foley Flapdoodle is that Bubba himself had to check in with "a member of Tiger's camp." And Watson reported simply that "we're good."

Evidently Watson knew which of the henchmen he needed to report to, evidently there is a separate department at IMG that handles Defamation of the Holy Cow.

Now what Foley seems to be missing in all of this and perhaps the best retort for that little fiend, is simply this: okay Sean-boy, Bubba's won three times, so how many times has Tiger won since he began working with you?

No, that's not good enough. Hey Sean, how's Tiger been playing since he started working with you?

No, that's simply not going to do.

Hey Sean, now that Tiger demands all your waking hours, how are the rest of your students doing these days, at least the ones you still have?

So yes, Sean's right, Bubba's got a long way to go to catch up to Woods.

But don't forget, Bubba's got three more wins over the past 12 months than Woods.

Holy Cow!
