NFL Free Agency: Predicting the Eventual Destination for Every FA
The teams that are aggressive during free agency are generally the best teams in the NFL. For example, Charles Woodson and Reggie White were both picked up in free agency by the Green Bay Packers. Both players were crucial to their respective Super Bowl seasons.
The 2011 group of free agents lacks the elite talent that we have seen in recent years. There are certainly top level players, just not as many as we are used to seeing.
Nnamdi Asomugha is clearly the best player available, and all 32 teams could use his special talent. If a team misses out on Asomugha, are they doomed? Certainly not because there are plenty of solid players that could help anyone build a quality team.
Here is a look at where every free agent will be playing for the 2011-2012 season.

Before we actually dive into this exhaustive study, I feel I should explain some things.
First, I am no psychic. I cannot see the future. These are simply educated guesses.
Second, there is a 99.9 percent chance that I will be wrong on some of these predictions. I understand that, and I hope you can understand that too.
Finally, enjoy the article. Many of these players you might not know, but it should be exciting to see how your team fares during free agency.
Arizona Cardinals
2 of 33
Who is staying: Reagan Mauia-FB, Steve Breaston-WR, Early Doucet-WR, Ben Patrick-TE, Stephen Spach-TE, Ben Graham-P, Kenny Iwebema-DL, Cyril Obiozar-LB, Michael Adams-CB, Trumaine McBride-CB, Matt Ware-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Jason Right-RB(Saints), Anthony Becht-TE(Bengals), Alan Faneca-OG(Retirement), Alan Branch-BL(Browns), Justin Miller-CB(Jaguars)
Most missed free agent: Alan Faneca, OG
While Faneca has become less effective in his old age, he was still a reliable starter for the Cardinals. His leadership and consistent play will be missed in Arizona.
Atlanta Falcons
3 of 33
Who is staying: Michael Koenen-P, Justin Blalock-OT, Harvey Dahl-OG, Stephen Nicholas-LB, Brent Grimes-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Brian Finneran-WR(Browns), Trey Lewis-DL(Vikings), Mike Peterson-LB(Chargers), Coy Wire-LB(Bills)
Most missed free agent: Mike Peterson, LB
Mike Peterson has been the leader of the Falcons defense for the past two seasons, but it appears as if his time is up in Atlanta. Peterson will be 35 when the season starts and should help another team for a few more years.
Baltimore Ravens
4 of 33
Who is staying: Le'Ron McClain-FB, Jason McKie-FB, Sam Koch-P, Jared Gaither-OT, Josh Wilson-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Marc Bulger-QB(Cardinals), T.J. Houshmandzadeh-WR(Bears), Dante Stallworth-WR(Rams), Scott Kooistra-OG(Buccaneers), Chris Carr-CB(Redskins)
Most missed free agent: T.J. Houshmandzadeh, WR
The Ravens have never been known for having a top group of receivers. However, last year with Boldin and Houshmandzadeh, it appeared as if the Ravens might have finally gotten their elite receivers.
Houshmandzadeh was a disappointment for the majority of the season, but there is no doubting his ability. That ability will be missed in the Ravens passing game.
Buffalo Bills
5 of 33
Who is staying: Corey McIntyre-FB, Garrison Sanborn-OL, Mansfield Wrotto-OL, John McCargo-DL, Chris Kelsay-LB, Paul Posluszny-LB, Drayton Florence-CB, Donte Whitner-FS
Who is leaving and to where: Quinton Ganther-RB(Redskins), Mike Caussi-TE(Dolphins), Scott Chandler-TE(Titans), Cornell Green-OL(Cowboys), Akin Ayodele-LB(Titans), Mike Balogun-LB(Browns), George Wilson-SS(Texans)
Most missed free agent: Akin Ayodele, LB
In his lone season with Buffalo, Ayodele was one of the best players on a pretty bad defense. He has a nose for the ball and is a clean tackler. He still has some good years left in him as an inside linebacker.
Carolina Panthers
6 of 33
Who is staying: Matt Moore-QB, David Clowney-WR, Ryne Robinson-WR, Rhys Lloyd-K, Charles Johnson-DL, Richard Marshall-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Keith Null-QB(Rams), DeAngelo Williams-RB(Dolphins), Dwayne Jarrett-WR(Jaguars), Jamie Petrowski-TE(49ers), Dante Rosario-TE(Giants), Chris Morris-C(Bears), Jamar Williams-LB(Falcons), Gerald Alexander-FS(Titans)
Most missed free agent: DeAngelo Williams, RB
I don't know why the Panthers are letting DeAngelo Williams go, but Williams should have plenty of suitors waiting for him. He struggled with injuries last season, but has back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons before last year and recorded 18 touchdowns in 2008-2009. A very baffling move by the Panthers.
Chicago Bears
7 of 33
Who is staying: Garrett Wolfe-RB, Eddie Williams-FB, Rashied Davis-WR, Desmond Clark-TE, Brad Maynard-P, Olin Kreutz-C, Patrick Mannelly-C, Anthony Adams-DL, Rod Wilson-LB, Corey Graham-CB, Daniel Manning-SS, Josh Bullocks-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Todd Collins-QB(Retirement), Devin Aromashodu-WR(Falcons), Aaron Brant-OT(Jaguars), Kevin Shaffer-OT(Patriots), Josh Beekman-OG(Giants), Charles Grant-DL(Panthers), Tommie Harris-DL(Broncos), Hunter Hillenmeyer-LB(Raiders), Trumaine McBride-CB(Texans)
Most missed free agent: Tommie Harris, DT
Tommie Harris' numbers have slowly been decreasing in recent years. Harris is a big body who can take up space if he can stay on the field. Look for a team with a glaring need in the middle, like the Broncos, to make a move on Harris.
Cincinnati Bengals
8 of 33
Who is staying: Cedric Benson-RB, Brian Leonard-RB, Kirk Chambers-OT, Dhani Jones-LB, Chinedum Ndukwe-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Antonio Bryant-WR(Seahawks), Terrell Owens-WR(Jets), John Paul Foschi-TE(Lions), Aaron Pettrey-K(Cowboys), Evan Mathis-OG(Patriots), Johnathan Joseph-CB(Cowboys), Roy Williams-SS(Panthers), Gibril Wilson-FS(Eagles)
Most missed free agent: Johnathan Joseph, CB
It is possible that Joseph will stay with the Bengals, but with the amount of teams needing help in the secondary, I see Joseph walking away with a huge payday. Joseph is a top cornerback in this league and should get paid like one.
Cleveland Browns
9 of 33
Who is staying: Demetrius Williams-WR, Robert Royal-TE, E. Alex Smith-TE, Phil Dawson-K, Dave Zastudil-P, John St. Clair-OT, Billy Yates-OG, David Bowerns-DL, D.J. Mosley-DL, Eric Alexander-LB, Eric Barton-LB, D'Qwell Jackson-LB, Eric Wright-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Seneca Wallace-QB(Bills), Clifton Smith-RB(Ravens), Chansi Stuckey-WR(Colts), Garrett Mills-TE(Saints), Kenyon Coleman-DL(Packers), Shaun Rodgers-DL(Colts), Eric Alexander-LB(Steelers), DeAngelo Smith-CB(Lions)
Most missed free agent: Kenyon Coleman, DE
The Browns won't be losing any big names to free agency, but Kenyon Coleman was one of their best defensive lineman last year. His age might make some teams weary, but a team that is thin on the defensive line should make him a tempting offer.
Dallas Cowboys
10 of 33
Who is staying: Deon Anderson-FB, Kyle Kosier-OG, Alex Daniels-DL, Gerald Sensabaugh-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Doug Free-OT(Chiefs), Marcus Spears-DL(Broncos)
Most missed free agent: Doug Free, OT
The Cowboys will lose fewer players than any other team, but losing Doug Free will hurt some. The Cowboys offensive line was very bad last year and losing a decent starter like Free will only make the depth of talent thinner.
Denver Broncos
11 of 33
Who is staying: Daniel Coats-TE, Dan Gronkowski-TE, Matt Prater-K, Ryan Harris-OT, Ronald Fields-DL, Marcus Thomas-DL
Who is leaving and to where: Justin Fargas-RB(Colts), Laurence Maroney-RB(Raiders), Daniel Graham-TE(Cardinals), Steven Hauschka-K(Seahawks), Justin Bannan-DL(Panthers), LeKevin Smith-DL(Bears), Kevin Vickerson-DL(Steelers), Jamal Williams-DL(Jets), Chevis Jackson-CB(Ravens)
Most missed free agent: Kevin Vickerson
Any player the Broncos lose on their defensive line is going to be hard to swallow, and Vickerson is the best on the bunch. Vickerson is still relatively young and should be a target for a team looking to boost their defensive front.
Detroit Lions
12 of 33
Who is staying: Jerome Felton-FB, Brian Clark-WR, Dave Rayner-K, Dylan Gandy-C, Jared DeVries-DL, Andre Fluellen-DL, Zack Follett-LB, Turk McBride-LB, Chris Houston-CB, John Wendling-FS
Who is leaving and to where: Drew Stanton-QB(49ers), Kevin Smith-RB(Patriots), Dennis Northcutt-WR(Redskins), Landon Johnson-LB(Vikings), Julian Peterson-LB(Bengals), Brandon McDOnald-CB(Eagles)
Most missed free agent: Kevin Smith, RB
I know Kevin Smith has been a disappointment since he was drafted. However, Jahvid Best struggled with injuries and Mikel LeShoure is just a rookie. Smith was a good safety net in case Best got injured and LeShoure had a hard time adapting to the pro game.
Without Smith, the Lions could have issues with running back depth.
Green Bay Packers
13 of 33
Who is staying: John Kuhn-FB, Mason Crosby-K, Daryn Colledge-OG, Justin Harrell-DL, Mike Montgomery-DL, Robert Francois-LB, Maurice Simpkins-LB, Josh Bell-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Spencer Havner-TE(Bills), Donald Lee-TE(Giants), Jason Spitz-C(Buccaneers), Howard Green-DL(Jets), Cullen Jenkins-DL(Chiefs), Diyral Briggs-LB(Rams), Matt Wilhelm-LB(Saints), Will Blackmon-CB(Lions), Atari Bigby-SS(Cowboys), Derrick Martin-FS(Raiders)
Most missed free agent: Cullen Jenkins, DE
Cullen Jenkins was crucial to the Packers Super Bowl season, and it will be hard to replace him. The Packers drafted some young talent at defensive end, but someone will need to step up big to fill Jenkins' shoes.
Whichever team gets Jenkins is getting a quality defensive player with a non-stop motor.
Houston Texans
14 of 33
Who is staying: Vonta Leach-FB, Jacoby Jones-WR, Matt Turk-P, Kasey Studdard-OG, Kevin Bentley-LB, Bernard Pollard-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Andre Davis-WR(Vikings), Ephraim Salaam-OT(Lions), Mark Anderson-DL(Broncos), Tim Bulman-DL(Titans), Darnell Bing-LB(Redskins), Zac Diles-LB(Chargers), Isaiah Greenhouse-LB(Chiefs), Eugene Wilson-FS(Saints)
Most missed free agent: Ephraim Salaam, OT
The Texans have been terrible at protecting the quarterback throughout their franchise history, so losing any offensive lineman will certainly hurt. Salaam should be given a chance to win a starting position wherever he ends up.
Indianapolis Colts
15 of 33
Who is staying: Joseph Addai-RB, Adam Vinatieri-K, Ketunta Dawson-DL, Clint Session-LB, Ken Hamlin-FS
Who is leaving and to where: Michael Toudouze-OL(Bengals)
Most missed free agent: Michael Toudouze, OT
Toudouze will be missed by default only. The Colts did a great job of boosting their offensive line through the draft and Toudouze probably won't be missed much at all.
Jacksonville Jaguars
16 of 33
Who is staying: Mike Sims-Walker-WR, Ernest Wilford-TE, Adam Podlesh-P, Kynan Forney-OG, Uche Nwaneri-OG, Justin Durant-LB, Kirk Morrison-LB, Scott Starks-CB, Sean Considine-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Trent Edwards-QB(Rams), Jonathan Palmer-OG(Seahawks), Derek Landri-DL(Falcons), Michael Hamlin-FS(Steelers)
Most missed free agent: Michael Hamlin, FS
The Jaguars are pretty weak in the secondary, and Hamlin is still a young player with some potential. The Jaguars might not instantly feel the loss of Hamlin, but if Hamlin turns into a quality player, the Jaguars could regret letting him go.
Kansas City Chiefs
17 of 33
Who is staying: Brodie Croyle-QB, Ryan O'Callaghan-OT, Barry Richardson-OT, Ron Edwards-DL, Shaun Smith-DL, Tamba Hali-LB, Mike Vrabel-LB, Maurice Leggett-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Tim Castille-FB(Rams), Kevin Curtis-WR(Ravens), Jean-Phillippe Darche-C(Dolphins), Jeffrey Fitzgerald-DL(Patriots)
Most missed free agent: Tim Castille, FB
Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones are certainly going to miss Castille. Castille is a fantastic blocker and opened up huge holes for both Charles and Jones. If the Rams can land Castille, watch for Steven Jackson's numbers to have a slight boost.
Miami Dolphins
18 of 33
Who is staying: Chad Pennington-QB, Ricky Williams-RB, Lousaka Polite-FB, Brandon Fields-P
Who is leaving and to where: Ronnie Brown-RB(Patriots), Allen Barbre-OG(Browns), Cory Procter-OL(Colts), John Denney-DL(Eagles), Nate Ness-CB(Buccaneers)
Most missed free agent: Ronnie Brown, RB
Ronnie Brown was considered one of the better young running backs not too many years ago. Brown might not be able to carry the entire running load, but he still is capable of being a starting running back. The Patriots love finding big name players like Brown who can come in and produce.
Minnesota Vikings
19 of 33
Who is staying: Patrick Ramsey-QB, Naufahu Tahi-FB, Hank Baskett-WR, Ryan Longwell-K, Fred Evans-DL, Pat Williams-DL, Erin Henderson-LB, Ben Leber-LB
Who is leaving and to where: Tarvaris Jackson-QB(Bills), Ryan Moats-RB(Titans), Albert Young-RB(Seahawks), Greg Lewis-WR(Saints), Sidney Rice-WR(Raiders), Javon Walker-WR(Ravens), Ray Edwards-DL(Falcons), Chad Greenway-LB(Steelers), Frank Walker-CB(Eagles)
Most missed free agent: Sidney Rice, WR
It was a toss-up between Rice and Ray Edwards, but the Vikings are very thin at wide receiver. With a rookie quarterback likely starting for the majority of the season, Rice would have been a huge help.
The Vikings are losing a ton of talent to free agency, and they should feel the effects throughout the season.
New England Patriots
20 of 33
Who is staying: Kevin Faulk-RB, BenJarvus Green-Ellis-RB, Shayne Graham-K, Logan Mankins-OG, Gerard Warren-DL, Kyle Arrington-CB, Josh Barrett-FS
Who is leaving and to where: Thomas Clayton-RB(Cowboys), Sammy Morris-RB(Retirement), Fred Taylor-RB(Retirement), Torry Holt-WR(Retirement), Matt Light-OT(Chiefs), Tracy White-LB(Vikings), Shawn Springs-CB(Lions), Brandon McGowan-FS(Broncos)
Most missed free agent: Matt Light, OT
Matt Light has been an anchor on the Patriots line for numerous years, but everything I've heard is telling me that he is out the door. Light will be missed, but don't expect a drop-off in the Patriots wins next year.
New Orleans Saints
21 of 33
Who is staying: Julius Jones-RB, Heath Evans-FB, Lance Moore-WR, David Thomas-TE, Jermon Bushrod-OT, Zach Strief-OT, Scott Shanle-LB, Roman Harper-SS, Matt Giordano-FS
Who is leaving and to where: Joique Bell-RB(Redskins), P.J. Hill-RB(Texans), DeShawn Wynn-RB(Bears), Marcus Mailei-FB(Rams), Carl Nicks-OG(Jets), Jimmy Wilkerson-DL(49ers), Darren Sharper-FS(Panthers)
Most missed free agent: Carl Nicks, OG
Nicks is a Pro Bowl player who will be tough to lose for the Saints. He has been a major part in giving Drew Brees the time he needs to disect defenses.
Whichever team lands Nicks will have an instant upgrade at their guard position.
New York Giants
22 of 33
Who is staying: Jim Sorgi-QB, Ahmad Bradshaw-RB, Danny Ware-RB, Michael Clayton-WR, Domenik Hixon-WR, Steve Smith-WR, Kevin Boss-TE, Kevin Boothe-OG, Barry Cofield-DL, Keith Bulluck-LB, Deon Grant-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Darius Reynaud-RB(Buccaneers), Plaxico Burress-WR(Bengals), Derek Hagan-WR(Steelers), Jamon Meredith-OT(Packers), Mathias Kiwanuka-DL(Eagles), Dave Tollefson-DL(Bears), Chase Blackburn-LB(Colts), Zak DeOssie-LB(Cowboys)
Most missed free agent: Plaxico Burress, WR
We all know that Burress has been out of the NFL due to legal reasons, but I think he could come back better than ever. Remember a guy named Mike Vick and what happened when he got out of prison?
The Bengals aren't shy about taking a risk on a player, and Burress still has plenty of talent left in him.
New York Jets
23 of 33
Who is staying: Braylon Edwards-WR, Santonio Holmes-WR, Brad Smith-WR, Nick Folk-K, Steve Weatherford-P, Nick Mangold-C, Shaun Ellis-DL, Rodrique Wright-DL, David Harris-LB, Andre Dyson-CB, Brodney Pool-FS
Who is leaving and to where: Kellen Clemens-QB(Bills), Laveranues Coles-WR(Giants), Patrick Turner-WR(Panthers), Ben Hartsock-TE(Falcons), Damien Woody-OT(Seahawks), Kris Jenkins-DL(Vikings), Vernon Gholston-LB(Ravens), Lance Laury-LB(Broncos), Jason Taylor-LB(Jaguars), Antonio Cromartie-CB(Steelers)
Most missed free agent: Antonio Cromartie, CB
Cromartie has been an inconsistent performer in recent years, but the talent to be a shutdown corner is there. Playing across from Revis certainly didn't make things any easier for Cromartie.
If a team like the Steelers were able to grab him, they should be able to get the most out of him.
Oakland Raiders
24 of 33
Who is staying: Kyle Boller-QB, Bruce Gradkowski-QB, Michael Bush-RB, Johnnie Lee Higgins-WR, Zach Miller-TE, Khalif Barnes-OT, Samson Satele-C
Who is leaving and where to: Charlie Frye-QB(Dolphins), J.T. O'Sullivan-QB(Chargers), Mario Henderson-OT(Saints), Robert Gallery-OG(Cowboys), Jay Richardson-DL(Jets), Terdell Sands-DL(Rams), Nnamdi Asomugha-CB(Eagles)
Most missed free agent: Nnamdi Asomugha, CB
The grand prize of the free agent market, Nnamdi Asomugha, goes to the Philadelphia Eagles. He is one of the best cornerbacks in all of football and will prove to be worth the struggle to get him.
Philadelphia Eagles
25 of 33
Who is staying: Jerome Harrison-RB, Sav Rocca-P, Reggie Wells-OG, Victor Abiamiri-DL, Xzavie Jackson-DL, Omar Gaither-LB, Akeem Jordan-LB, Ernie Sims-LB, Ellis Hobbs-CB, Antoine Harris-FS
Who is leaving and to where: Jamal Jones-WR(Raiders), David Akers-K(Bengals), Nick Cole-C(Cardinals), Jeremy Clark-DL(Chiefs), Darryl Tapp-DL(Titans), Stewart Bradley-LB(Jaguars), Quintin Mikell-S(Texans)
Most missed free agent: Quintin Mikell, SS
The Eagles grabbed Nnamdi Asomugha, but the loss of Mikell will still hurt. Mikell was a solid performer for the Eagles all season and should be a great help to a terrible Texans defense.
Pittsburgh Steelers
26 of 33
Who is staying: Mewelde Moore-RB, Shaun Suisham-K, Daniel Sepulveda-P, Adrian Jones-OG, Chris Hoke-DL, Keyaron Fox-LB, LaMarr Woodley-LB, William Gay-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Dwayne Wright-RB(Jets), Limas Sweed-WR(49ers), Jeremy Kapinos-P(Lions), Willie Colon-OT(Patriots), Andre Frazier-LB(Giants), Brandon Renkart-LB(Vikings), Ike Taylor-CB(Browns)
Most missed free agent: Ike Taylor, CB
The weakest point of the Steelers defense was their secondary. Although Ike Taylor's play was not what you would expect from a starter, the Steelers don't have much depth in their secondary. Taylor will be missed if the Steelers can't find players to replace him.
San Diego Chargers
27 of 33
Who is staying: Billy Volek-QB, Curtis Brinkley-RB, Mike Tolbert-FB, Malcon Floyd-WR, Legedu Naan-WR, Randy McMichael-TE, Jeromey Clary-OT, Brandyn Dombrowki-OT, Jacques Cesaire-DL, Antwan Applewhite-LB, Antwan Barnes-LB, Stephen Cooper-LB, Brandon Siler-LB, Dante Hughes-CB, Paul Oliver-FS, Eric Weddle-FS
Who is leaving and to where: Darren Sproles-RB(Bengals), Billy Latsko-FB(Panthers), Vincent Jackson-WR(Bears), Travis Johnson-DL(Redskins), Ryan Neill-DL(Broncos), Darry Beckwith-LB(Saints), Kevin Burnett-LB(Packers), Pat Watkins-SS(Colts), Quinton Teal-FS(Broncos)
Most missed free agent: Vincent Jackson, WR
Vincent Jackson is a dynamic receiver. Whenever you lose a player of Jackson's caliber, it will hurt your team.
The Bears showed last year that they aren't scared getting a big free agent when the grabbed Julius Peppers. They need a top receiver, and Jackson is their man.
San Francisco 49ers
28 of 33
Who is staying: Troy Smith-QB, Jeff Reed-K, Demetric Evans-DL, Ray McDonals-DL, Tarell Brown-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Alex Smith-QB(Seahawks), Shane Andrus-K(Vikings), Aubrayo Franklin-DL(Colts), Manny Lawson-LB(Patriots), Takeo Spikes-LB(Browns), Dashon Goldson-FS(Buccaneers)
Most missed free agent: Manny Lawson, OLB
Manny Lawson was a quality starter for the 49ers and teamed well with Patrick Willis. His play making ability will be missed coming off the edge, and his skills could have been used in a rebuilding year for San Francisco.
Seattle Seahawks
29 of 33
Who is staying: Nate Davis-QB, J.P. Losman-QB, Leon Washington-RB, Brandon Stokley-WR, Olindo Mare-K, Sean Locklear-OT, Tyler Polumbus-OT, Chris Spencer-C, Brandon Mebane-DL, Kennard Cox-CB, Lawyer Milloy-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Matt Hasselbeck-QB(Dolphins), Adrian N. Peterson-RB(Eagles), Ruvell Martin-WR(Bills), Chris Baker-TE(Dolphins), Ray Willis-OT(Steelers), James Whyche-DL(49ers), LeRoy Hill-LB(Jets), Kelly Jennings-CB(Chargers)
Most missed free agent: Matt Hasselbeck-QB
The face of the franchise, Matt Hasselbeck, will be sorely missed by the Seahawks. Hasselbeck led Seattle to a surprising playoff run and should fight for a starting position wherever he ends up.
He has had a fantastic career for the Seahawks.
St. Louis Rams
30 of 33
Who is staying: Kenneth Darby-RB, Steven Jackson-RB, Brit Miller-FB, Darcy Johnson-TE, Gary Gibson-DL, David Vobora-LB, Kevin Payne-SS
Who is leaving and to where: Mark Clayton-WR(Texans), Laurent Robinson-WR(Patriots), Mark Setterstrom-C(Packers), Curtis Johnson-DL(Bengals), David Nixon-LB(Browns), Quincy Butler-CB(Cowboys), Michael Lewis-SS(Lions)
Most missed free agent: Mark Clayton, WR
None of the free agents leaving will be missed much, but the Rams are thin at wide receiver, and Clayton still has some good years left in him.
The Rams will have to lean heavy on some rookie wideouts, but overall, they should improve from last year.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
31 of 33
Who is staying: John Gilmore-TE, Jerramy Stevens-TE, Kellen Winslow-TE, Davin Joseph-OG, Donovan Raiola-OL, Jon Alston-LB, Adam Hayward-LB, Barrett Rudd-LB, Elbert Mack-CB
Who is leaving and to where: Cadillac Williams-RB(Seahawks), Nathan Overbay-TE(Cardinals), Keydrick Vincent-OG(Bears), Erik Lorig-DL(Jaguars), Quincy Black-LB(Titans), Tanard Jackson-FS(Bills)
Most missed free agent: Cadillac Williams, RB
Cadillac Williams has never played up to his potential, but the ability is still there. LeGarrette Blount had a fantastic season as Williams replacement, but I think Williams could still produce at a high level in this league.
If Blount gets injured, the Buccaneers will be feeling the loss of Williams.
Tennessee Titans
32 of 33
Who is staying: Kerry Collins-QB, Ahmard Hall-FB, Mark Jones-WR, Bo Scaife-TE, Leroy Harris-OG, Jacob Ford-BL, Jason Babin-DL
Who is leaving and to where: Chris Simms-QB(Browns), Randy Moss-WR(Rams), Joel Gamble-TE(Steelers), David Thornton-LB(Chiefs)
Most missed free agent: Randy Moss, WR
I know that Randy Moss did absolutely nothing productive last year. However, something similar happened when he was in Oakland, and everyone thought he was washed up.
The next year he caught 23 touchdown passes. Someone just needs to light a fire under Moss because he can still play.
Washington Redskins
33 of 33
Who is staying: John Beck-QB, Rex Grossman-QB, Andre Brown-RB, James Davis-RB, Mike Sellers-FB, Marques Hagans-WR, Josh Bidwell-P, Will Montgomery-C, H.B. Blades-LB
Who is leaving and to where: Larry Johnson-RB(Panthers), Willie Parker-RB(Raiders), Clinton Portis-RB(Saints), Chad Simpson-RB(Falcons), Santana Moss-WR(Browns), Derrick Dockery-OG(Packers), Andre Carter-LB(49ers), Carlos Rogers-CB(Raiders)
Most missed free agent: Santana Moss, WR
Santana Moss has been the main receiving weapon for the Redskins in recent years. His ability to make plays after the catch will be missed. The Redskins will make Moss a big offer, but I can't see him staying to play for a team that is going nowhere.
