NFL News: 5 Players to Target in 2011 Fantasy Football Drafts

I will be bringing you consistent weekly articles on players to target in your 2011 fantasy football drafts. I will predict output and recommend what rounds to target the players. Good luck in your 2011 fantasy drafts.

Mike Williams (TB)—He was one of my favorite rookie picks last year if you were reading my articles, and was also a solid waiver wire pick as he wasn't drafted in some leagues. The saga continues into 2011 were he will be drafted in the third round of fantasy drafts. I bet he goes over 1,000+ yards and double digit TD's. He is a weekly starter.

Josh Freeman—Josh Freeman will be throwing all those TD's to Mike Williams in 2011. He is a great dynasty league pick with great upside in 2011. 3,500+ yards and 30+ TD's in 2011 make Freeman a capable starter and a perfect back-up QB or 2 QB league pick. He will go in the later rounds, no rush here.

Cedric Benson—OK, I know I talk about Benson every single year and he is going to have his last hoorah in 2011. He is only worth a pick in PPR leagues and will have a total of 1,000+ yards and 8+ TD's in 2011.  I would see if he falls into the late 6th round.   If he is there in the 7th round then to me he is a no-brainer pick.

Devone Bess—Bess is a good eighth round target WR. He has a great attitude and amazing work ethic.  He has shown improvement every year and should be up for a near 1,000 yard season and over five TD's. He is a solid bye weekly fill in player with upside if Brandon Marshall decides to have more drama in his life.

Anthony Armstrong—Armstrong is another later round draft pick sleeper with upside. If you don't land Bess you can grab Armstrong. I like Armstrong for his deep threat capability. This gives him upside with TD's. I would see him sniffing at 1,000 yards and over five TD's in 2011.
