World Football Transfers: 8 Hot Prospects Going to Bigger Clubs This Summer
Transfer season is looming just around the corner and it's never too early to think about dream additions to your team. During the 2010-11 season, a few players have stepped up for their clubs, whether in the Europa League or during the domestic season.
Here are eight of these standout players, in no particular order, who will likely move to bigger clubs during the summer.
Nuri Sahin

The highly rated Borussia Dortmund midfielder is likely to be one of the first transfers of the season. Multiple sources claim that, as soon as Monday, Sahin will announce that he is on his way to Real Madrid.

Romelo Lukaku

Although he hasn't received as much acclaim as players plying their trade in better-exposed leagues, what Romelo Lukaku has received is praise from Cristiano Ronaldo, who called him a "really fantastic young player."
However, Lukaku's chances of a move to Real Madrid seem unlikely; Chelsea are his prime suitors. Didier Drogba has spoken to Lukaku and Anderlecht have already turned down an offer for their young star. One wouldn't be surprised if an improved bid is on the cards.

Eden Hazard
3 of 8
Lille's excellent 2010-11 season is partly thanks to Eden Hazard. The 20-year-old's excellent performances have prompted Zinedine Zidane to suggest that Real Madrid and Juventus should pursue his signature. At this point, the Spanish capital team seem to be out of the running as Hazard hinted that playing time would limited.
The most likely suitor seem to be Arsenal. Some thought that they would try to sign him in January, but as that did not occur, fans will have to wait and see whether he makes the move to the Premier League this summer.

Edinson Cavani
4 of 8
Edinson Cavani has spearheaded Napoli's excellent domestic season, leading the Serie A with a very respectable 26 goals. The only players standing between him and the European Golden Shoe are Mario Gomez and the big two from Spain. Nonetheless, his prolific scoring, including hat-tricks against Lazio and Juventus, have propelled the 24-year-old onto the world stage.
Although a possible transfer has been denied by sources linked to Cavani, expect him to move if Napoli does not obtain a spot in the Champions League.

Goals: 26

Rumored Destinations: Manchester City, Liverpool
Radamel Falcao

While Cavani garnered attention for his displays in the Serie A, Falcao has been very impressive in this year's Europa League. He has not only been instrumental in helping Porto reach the Europa League Final but also broken Jurgen Klinsmann's 15-year-old, 15 goal Europa League record.
His 14 goals in the Portuguese League also merit consideration. Despite Porto having secured Champions League football, don't be surprised if Falcao leaves during the summer.

Hulk
6 of 8
As impressive as Falcao has been in the Europa League, Porto's huge lead in the Portuguese Liga is largely thanks to Hulk, who leads the league with 22 goals. He has also contributed to Porto's successful Europa League run.
Some may be inclined to think that neither Falcao nor Hulk will leave this summer; Porto is tipped by many as a very promising team which will attempt to retain its best players for next season. But several big clubs are in need of a clinical striker, and might go after Hulk's signature as soon as the transfer market opens.

Another team who has impressed this season is Udinese, which currently holds the final Italian Champions League qualification spot. Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez has helped Udinese reach its current position, scoring very important goals against Milan and Juventus. He also bagged four against Palermo during a 7-0 rout.
Many teams are reportedly after Sanchez due to the 22-year-old's consistent performances, especially during the second half of the domestic season.

Santos has supposedly rejected offers from Real Madrid and Chelsea, but expect some big teams to have another go this summer.
