Wes ODonnellMay 7, 2011

Manny Pacquiao is getting ready to do what he does best, beating up the other man in the ring with him.

"Sugar" Shane Mosley happens to be that man, and he will have his work cut out for him at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas tonight.

The 39-year-old fighter is looking for resurrect his career by toppling the sport's best fighter.

Just hours before Manny Pacquiao would arrive for his fight, news broke of a possible helping hand for Mosley's cause.

According to a report from Dan Rafael at ESPN.com, Pacquiao was involved in a minor car accident today while leaving a church service on the other side of his resort.

The reports lead us to believe nothing serious took place, and they described it as a "tap."

Fred Sternburg, Pacquiao's spokesperson, was actually quoted as saying, "Manny was laughing about all the attention it was getting. They were tapped. That was it."

This will likely gain more attention than necessary and Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach was quoted as saying, "Manny is ready to go."

As for Mosley, he certainly wouldn't wish any harm on his opponent in any way possible other than his own fists.

Manny Pacquiao is the world's best pound-for-pound fighter, and while Mosley is a great talent, he'll be hard-pressed to get a bead on Pacquiao.

These two will likely take the ring close to midnight tonight EDT.
