Floyd Mayweather Charged with Threatening Security Guards
Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KO's) adds a third batch of charges to his current courtroom ordeal.
According to the Washington Post, Mayweather has been hit with misdemeanor harassment charges filed this past Thursday.
These accuse him of threatening two Home owners Association security guards during an incident last October when they cited him for 29 illegally parked vehicles outside of Mayweather's Las Vegas home.
Security Guards Miguel Burgos and Aaron Ryan told police that when they tried to explain the association rules, Mayweather told them not to touch his vehicles.
According to Burgos, Mayweather threatened them with the following statement.
"“I already have a pending gun charge and I don’t want any problems, but my homeboys have guns and I’ll call them to come over and take care of you guys.”
"
Mayweather then took the citations, put them on the windshield of the officers' vehicle, and laughed while telling them to leave and repeating his previous threats.
It should be noted that Mayweather does not have a pending gun charge.
The guards left, called the police but told police not to press charges. Ryan changed his mind two weeks later.
