Dallas Cowboys Free Agency: Is It Time for a Terrell Owens Reunion?

It has been quite the rocky road for Terrell Owens since leaving Dallas. He flamed out in Buffalo in 2009 only to resurrect his career in Cincinnati last year.

He finished the season on injured reserve, but dominated in nearly every single game. These Cowboys are ready to set themselves apart from the rest after a solid draft, with big money expected to be thrown around during free agency.

There are several wide receivers on the market who could make a major impact on this high-octane offense. Tony Romo and Dez Bryant are expected to be healthy to start the season. Romo has great options to throw to in Miles Austin, Bryant and tight end Jason Witten, but this team needs a better No. 3 than Roy Williams.

What better opportunity for Jerry Jones and T.O. to win a Super Bowl than for these two to come to terms for a reunion in Dallas.

Whether he truly meant it or not, Owens seemed to prefer playing with Romo more than any other quarterback during his career. Romo is more mature, makes better decisions with the ball and has a much better supporting cast now. He has the ability now to truly lead this team to the Super Bowl.

T.O. has seen life outside of Dallas—and it’s not pretty.

He needs to return to Dallas to provide Jones with one of the greatest wide receiving corps. of all-time—Austin, Bryant and Owens. Not a single defense could stop that unit. Romo would be salivating each time he lines up to pass. T.O. would be able to dominate once again as it would be impossible to guard all three of these receivers.

Jason Garrett would be able to exploit every defense in the league with this offense. He would have them light up the score board all the way to the Super Bowl.

Dallas is very close to the Super Bowl, they just need to continue upgrading and adding depth. This is the time to put all of the childish issues aside and reunite for the chance to win it all in 2011.
