NFL Lockout: NFL Granted Full Lockout? Players Still Need to Prepare for Season
Here we go again.
I'm sure most would agree that if a magic genie granted us three wishes, one wish would be used on wealth, another on health.., but both after wishing for the the lockout to be lifted and never reinstated ever again in the history of the league.
According to Albert Breer on Twitter, "Sources: NFLPA is bracing for the NFL to be granted a full stay of the injunction to lift NFL lockout until the appeal is heard."

Breer continues, "The lockout is on until 8th circuit hears case on June 3, rules thereafter... Full stay would, in essence, eliminate offseason programs for '11. Generally those wrap in mid-June, which is earliest we could get ruling... 8th circuit could pull a shocker. Barring that: OTAs/minicamps gone; FA/trades delayed."
We better hope our players are staying in shape by themselves. We recently saw the Saints players working out in Tulsa. After being embarrassed by the Seahawks, it's great to see they're not taking this lightly as they hope to get back to their second Super Bowl in three seasons.
We all better hope our players have the same motivation and determination.
By the time the season starts, which I still believe it will, we could see a lot of players in poor condition to begin the season. This could completely alter the NFL universe as we know it.
We're going to see who's truly dedicated to the game and who is in it just to collect a paycheck. Some teams could get a jump start on their division lead depending on how ready they are, or how unprepared their opponents are.
This has been an extremely eventful offseason, and it could have an extreme effect on the 2011 regular season.
