I was roaming around the internet this morning and came across a clip on Sports by Brooks of Inning by Inning: A Portrait of a Coach. Inning by Inning is a documentary on University of Texas baseball coach Augie Garrido.

Here is the clip. If you are going to play this in your office, please use your earplugs. It’s not for the faint of heart.

I always heard Garrido was insane, but this documentary by Richard Linklater puts it all into light.

There’s a lot of ways to get the most out of your players or team and apparently Garrido thinks laying into them like nothing I have ever seen is the way to go.

I will guess it’s one of things where Texas puts up with this because he wins.

But if Garrido keeps screaming at his team like he did in the first 30 seconds of this clip, he is eventually going to have a heart attack.
