NFL Draft 2011, Round 2: 5 Players the Seattle Seahawks Might Target
Round 2 of the NFL draft is about to start, so here are five names that might fall to the Seahawks that would be great additions to the football team next season.
The selection of James Carpenter in Round 1 may negate the pick of a lineman in Round 2, but Pete Carroll has proven that nothing is out of the range of possibility. I do expect Seattle to look at the defensive side of the ball in Round 2, though. The unit needs some help.
5. Dontay Moch, DE/OLB, Nevada
1 of 5
This is a bit of a stretch, but Moch is an athletic freak that could make an impact on the defense. This unit needs playmakers, and Moch is just that.
4. Martez Wilson, LB, Illinois / Mason Foster, LB, Washington

Yes...I double-dipped.
Seattle needs some assurances at LB. If Lofa Tatupu is not able to survive another season, Wilson would be able to fill in at MLB...or at least compete with David Hawthorne for the position.
Foster would allow Seattle to move Hawthorne to the middle and give them flexibility with Aaron Curry.
3. Jurrell Casey, DT, USC
3 of 5
Casey might fall to Round 4 or could be gone in Round 2. He is a wild card but would be a great addition to the middle of our defensive line. He is quick off the line and can pressure the QB.
2. Rodney Hudson, G/C, Florida State
4 of 5
The likelihood of this selection is lower given the pick of Carpenter yesterday, but Hudson would provide a solid option in the middle of the line and free up the Seahawks to put Max Unger at G or C.
1. Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina
5 of 5
I don't expect to see Austin falling this far, but there were a lot of surprises yesterday. He was a top-15 talent that is falling down boards because of his year of probation and concerns with how he'd fit certain systems. Austin would be a great addition in Seattle.
If I thought Colin Kaepernick could fall this far, he'd be No. 1...
