TNA Superstar Asked for Release?

According to wrestling observer and TNA management the rumors are true, about a release in the company that they have been debating about for a while now.

Former TNA X-Division Champion and paparazzi cam extraordinaire Johnny Devine asked for his release. However as I stated earlier they have been debating on it, so TNA has not taken him up on his offer yet.

According to Bill Behrens, who handles bookings for a number of TNA performers. Should Devine leave TNA, he has plans to return to college. It would be a good thing for him and he may be back when he finishes college if released.

I think its a bitter sweet thing for TNA, Johnny Devine was one of their better X-Division stars, with him gone, more and more of the X-Division stars will have to step up.

There has been good rivalries happening within the X-Division, with Jay Lethal and Sanja Dutt, and Consequences Creed and Davari's new one as well. And since he has seeking for this release we have not seen Devine on and Impact broadcast in sometime.

Which could mean it would happen and they don't want him to be in any storylines or anything to get fans attracted to him at this point, if he is released they don't want it to be a big oh my God shocker.

I liked Devine when he was first on TNA, as a funny camera guy type dude, it was fun to watch really, and then he teamed up with Team 3D and I think he started to take off in his career for me at least.

It made him better and he got main event profile matches which put him as X-Division champ for a while, until Jay Lethal won it back. He was a great hardcore wrestler too, and they do not have enough of those guys around the TNA locker room for me.

Roxi is the only one hardcore around there and I don't prefer seeing a women bleed to a man, it's just wrong to me, but Johnny Devine you will be missed, I liked you dude, and hope you come back, if the release happens.
