John Cook Retains His Hold on the No. 1 Power Rankings

John Cook retained his hold on the No. 1 spot in the Power Performance Rankings with a victory at the Outback Pro-Am. Fred Couples is No. 2. Tom Lehman, who won the Mississippi Gulf Classic, moved up to No. 3.

Neither Mark McNulty nor David Eger, winners at The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, currently have enough points to remain in the Rankings although both have been among the top players in several past seasons.

Due to his injury, Bernhard Langer will drop points over the rest of the spring and summer season.

In this week's rankings, the Cap Cana tournament was dropped as it has been 12 months since the tournament took place.

Moves up: Gil Morgan from 35th to 31st; Hal Sutton from 42nd to 36th.

Moves down: Joey Sindelar from 20th to 24th; Chip Beck from 21st to 26th; David Peoples from 25th to 34th; Brad Bryant from 30th to 42nd; Jim Rutledge from 31st to 39th.

Dropped for insufficient points: Mark James, Eduardo Romero, Mark James.

Returning: Hale Irwin

Rankings are based on 12-month performances of Champions Tour players. When a tournament is played, the previous years results are dropped. Losing a high finish, dropping a low finish, adding a new high finish or a new low finish affects standings.

Players must have a minimum number of points to be included in the rankings, but all players are tracked.

In the chart: Blue bold italic indicates change from last week. Shaded with yellow indicates largest changes. Orange for dropped players and Green is for returning or entering players.

Red is for winners. $$ column of numbers reflects position on Champions Tour money list.
