WWE: Top 5 Greatest Tag Team Moves of All-Time
Tag teams were much more relevant back in the day compared to today's wrestling. That is why most of these moves are from great tag teams that are from way back (aside from a few).
I tried to keep this list to great tag teams instead of teams that didn't stay together for long but had an awesome move.
These are probably some of the best tag teams of all time, so it isn't a surprise they carry some of the greatest move/moves of all time.
Let the debate begin!
No 5: Demolition Decapitation
1 of 5
This move is when the opponent is held in a back breaker and is driven by an elbow from the second turnbuckle.
Demolition is one of my favorite tag teams of all time. This was when tag teams were actually relevant. This move might not be flashy, but it was original and flat-out got the job done.
No 4: Hardy Boyz Collection
2 of 5
They Hardy Boyz are one of the greatest high-flying tag teams in the history of the WWE.
They had great chemistry in the ring together. They performed plenty of moves as a tandem such as Poetry in Motion.
Edge, Christian, the Dudleys and the Hardy Boyz all played huge roles in the TLC match. Their role in those matches made the fans see just how high-flying and crazy they are, which we love.
No 3: Steiner Brothers Collection
3 of 5
The Steiner Brothers are one of the most underrated tag teams of all-time. I never see them get any love. They deserve better.
They have plenty of moves in their arsenal including The Steinerizer, Steiner DDT, Steiner Device and Steiner-Line.
No 2: Dudley Death Drop
4 of 5
The 3D was when an opponent was thrown off the ropes, lifted in the air and dropped into a diamond cutter/RKO, whatever you prefer.
The Dudley Boyz perfected this move. Everybody knew when it was coming, but it could surprise opponents. Seeing them do this move on a table adds that much more excitement to the match, obviously. And, we all know how much they loved tables!
No 1: Doomsday Device
5 of 5
The Doomsday Device was when the opponent was lifted on top of the shoulders and then clotheslined from the top rope.
The Legion of Doom were my favorite tag team in wrestling history. I was little when I watched these guys, but I loved their face paint, spikes and chemistry.
I have always thought that this move was the sweetest tag-team move I have seen. Obviously, some teams are adding moves that are so creative these days. I still think this was original and a staple to what made them one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history,
