4-Goal Falcao Reminds Arsene Wenger Why Arsenal FC Needs Him at the Emirates

Arsene Wenger and Arsenal FC target Falcao struck four second-half goals to help FC Porto battle back from a goal deficit against Villarreal and leave the Portuguese giants all but through to the Europa League final at Dublin.

Falcao, who came into the match as the leading scorer in this season’s Europa League with 11 goals, has increased his tally to 15, and Arsene Wenger would be licking his lips at the prospect of the 25-year-old linking up with Robin Van Persie next season. 

FC Porto hitman Radamel Falcao was already a prospect for Arsene Wenger after a string of impressive performances for the Portuguese giants this season, and his latest four-goal onslaught against much fancied Villarreal would have convinced Arsene Wenger that he is the right man for the job.   

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is eager to sign a striker to strengthen his forward line and could be tempted into making a move for the Colombian.

According to the Daily Star Sunday and reported by Tribal Football, also in the hunt for Falcao's signature is Harry Redknapp, but the prospect of bringing him to White Hart Lane would hugely depend on Tottenham's ability to finish forth in the league, and hence earn a Champions League spot.   

Falcao has revealed he is keen to stay at Porto should they qualify for the Champions League next season. Yet, the club would have to consider a bid if his £15 million valuation is met as it could ensure the long-term sustainability of the Portuguese club.

Personally, he could be the missing link for Arsenal, as they prepare to wrestle the title back from Manchester United's grasp next season.
