Note to Al Davis: You fired the wrong coach!

Today, folks, the Raider Nation had one word for today's game.

UGH.

That's about it. Bad execution, bad play-calling, and our defense was eaten alive. When Drew Brees wanted to throw, he would. When he wanted to hand off, he could.

We didn't bring any remarkable pressure, until the game was clearly out of hand.

All day long, every time the Raiders would get pressure, the pocket would either hold up, or, for the lack of better blaming, the Raider players wouldn't be allowed near Brees.

This went on, pretty much for the whole game.

On various plays, in passing situations, Brees could hit targets, and opposing players would be between 3-5 yards away. Not just once or twice...repeatedly.

I understand that Burgess was out of the game due to injury, and we lost Gibril Wilson early. But what about the other guys that were out there playing? We can't even be considered trying to play, if we're picked apart like a high school team against the pro teams.

Our offense, was a comedy of errors. The only problem is, no one was laughing in the Silver and Black. A number of times, Russell would overthrow his targets, miss reads, and then there was the two fumbles. This kid needs to be locked in a room with Rathman, so he'll learn not to scramble with one hand on the ball.

All in all.....I truly think Al fired the wrong coach. Ryan's first two tests against strong passing teams, have given him a grade of F. F minus, if that is possible.

Right now, i'd almost be tempted to throw Andrew Walter out there, and hope for the best.

Sheesh.
