Word on the street is that World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki and coach/father Piotr Wozniacki are seeking legend Martina Navratilova as a consultant to add to their team—taking place interestingly before Wozniacki lost to Julia Goerges in Stuttgart. Piotr revealed this to the Danish newspaper, Sporten DK

Piotr said he would like his daughter to add doubles to her repertoire for the upcoming Olympics and added: "In Charleston, we had a chat with Martina Navratilova. At that time she was active, she won not only the big singles tournaments. She also had excellent results in women's and mixed doubles. We have plans to engage her as a consultant. It is obviously not a cheap pleasure. The price to hire her may well reach about 300,000 U.S. dollars. But the money we pay like of their own pockets."

Last year, Navratilova said to Reuters about Caro: “But she was the best player day in, day out. She needs to win a Slam, she wants to win a Slam and most likely next year she’ll win one.”

Will Navratilova be able to help Wozniacki do that?

Navratilova won 18 Grand Slam singles titles, 31 Grand Slam women's doubles titles, and 10 Grand Slam mixed doubles titles.

I'd like to say that kind of experience and success is not bad for handing over some wisdom.
