Huge Shakeup in the BCS Rankings!

Thomas MorelandOct 11, 2008

With the Florida Gators taking out LSU in the Swamp, the BCS standings have been given a big jolt!  Let's look at what should happen to the rankings.

1. Alabama

2. Texas

3. Penn State

4. Oklahoma

5. Texas Tech

6. Florida

7. Missouri

8. LSU

9. USC

10. BYU

Let's see how I do at this ranking business, as I changed these several dozen times on Saturday night.

I think Alabama did the best this weekend not playing!

This is hard, as I believe on any given night, any of these teams could beat one another. Strength of schedule!  Ha!

Going undefeated will mean something as the season progresses!  Whoever runs the table will surely get in among the Top 4.

Now who they play will be anybody's guess! Watching the games, highlights and just paying attention it looks like Alabama, Texas, and Penn State has the best chances of being there. Hell, I don't know!

I'm hoping Ball State goes undefeated!  Missouri and Oklahoma State are driving me crazy, The score keeps changing! Okay! It's now Florida 34, LSU 14. This one's in the freezer!

Tim Tebow for another Heisman! Nightie nite now!

NFL MIKEE oops!

Another quick Florida touchdown, wow!  41-14. It's a rout!

LSU does not look like a high-ranked team. They look pretty normal to me! Or are the Gators playing on a lot of emotion? They must be mad after last week but this is unreal!

Watch out, everyone else in the SEC!  Oh heck, I might as well stay up until Missouri -Oklahoma State ends. I might have to make one more adjustment.  One minute later: nope, Oklahoma State scored again!

That's the way I'll leave it, as No. 1 , No. 2, and No. 3 all lose this weekend! Alabama has to be first by default! Pretty wild weekend for the BCS standings and NCAA  Football!   Ok, good night now for real!  I have to watch some football tomorrow!

Oops, 41-21 now. Silly fumble by Tebow, then no one plays any defense on the next play as LSU scores.  A great over bet, this would have been!

62 points scored with 11 minutes to go! The most points ever scored in this series in 55 years is 69. Bet they beat that!

An editor's nightmare this article! Ouch! Chris Rainey hits hard as Florida is first-and-goal on the 5.

69 points here we come!  Oklahoma State 28, Missouri 23 with 1:48 to go! Field goal for Florida, 44-21. 65 points with eight minutes left! Wow!   Ok I'm running spell check and going to bed!
