WWE Draft 2011: Is the Draft a New Beginning or a Death Sentence?
The WWE draft is one of those annual events that some wrestling fans could not care less about, while others look forward to the shaking up of the rosters. The real question is what does being drafted mean for one's career.
In the past, many different wrestlers have been buried after being drafted, while others found a boost to their career.
One person who some may not think of as a draft success story in the Miz. He was drafted to ECW in 2007 after being a low-card wrestler on Smackdown. Once he got to ECW, he took off like a rocket.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Miz changed his appearance, attire and persona to that of a brash, cocky heel. After teaming up with John Morison he helped create one of the most popular segments in WWE.com history, The Dirt Sheet.
Miz's brand of frat boy humor actually endeared him to some fans who began to cheer the guy they were supposed to boo.
Now Miz is the WWE Champion and has the longest reign in the past couple of years. He has proven his critics wrong and his loyal followers right.
Not everyone has found success after being drafted, though.
Kofi Kingston was a rising star on Raw. He was embroiled in a feud with Randy Orton that brought the high flyer into focus. After he was drafted to Smackdown his career seemed to stall a little. He has held the IC title a couple times, but never had that defining match or feud over on the blue brand.
Some guys need a change in order to start wrestling new people. John Cena is one name that is constantly mentioned as someone who needs a change to refresh his career. The WWE's poster boy has been fighting the same three or four guys for the past couple years over and over and over again.
On Smackdown he could start feuding with guys like Alberto Del Rio. He could even finally get the match he has stated he always wanted, a WrestleMania match with the Undertaker.
I am looking forward to the draft tonight to see if any of predictions pan out. I am looking for Evan Bourne, Zack Ryder and Daniel Bryan to be drafted to reignite their careers.
Who do you hope to see drafted tonight?
