Florida—LSU, Who Wants It More?
As you know the Florida Gators and the LSU Tigers are set to face of today in the Swamp. But after a big loss to Ole Miss, can the Gators came back? That is the question of the day.
LSU has to win to not only keep SEC title hopes alive but National title hopes alive too. They were the champs last year, but can they do it this year? This game will be that factor.
Since Florida lost to Ole Miss it looks as if they are out of the National Championship, but anything could happen. It is college football after all. So the SEC title is what Urban Meyer and the Gators hopeful are focused on.
But the Gators have to go through a stout LSU defense, which could be one of the best in the country. And if Tim Tebow plays anything like he did against Ole Miss, the LSU defense will eat him alive.
They may be in the Swamp, but Tim Tebow will be Tiger bait if this happens. Now the big question mark for LSU is the offense. They have played musical quarterbacks thus far in the season. Will they pick somebody already?
That is what the Gators will feed on. I don't think Tebow will get big numbers but I think he may put it up just enough, since both have a good defense it will come down to the offense and on paper and on the field the Gators look best in that category.
I personally have seen both play and I can tell you that they are both skilled in special teams. I mean have you seen the Gators special teams? Their kick returner is probably the best in the country right now.
And even though LSU is pretty good in that department themselves, but they can't really do as well as Florida there. It will be a defense battle in my opinion. It will most likely be low scoring game with a fourth quarter touchdown or field goal that will be the deciding factor.
My pick will be Florida, because in my opinion, they will want it more. The score will possibly be 13-7. Its pretty low, but like I said it will most likely turn out that way. But what do you think?
