Orlando Magic-Atlanta Hawks Video: Watch Jason Richardson Slap Zaza Pachulia

You have to feel for the Orlando Magic. Since making the NBA Finals in 2009 against the Los Angeles Lakers, the entire team has regressed. 

Outside of Dwight Howard, the members of the supporting cast play such an inconsistent brand of basketball that it's just hard for them to beat any Eastern Conference playoff team in a seven-game series. Especially not the Hawks.

Last season, the Magic swept the Hawks during their playoff matchup. This time around, the story is much different.

The Magic failed to win any of their games in Atlanta this season and their difficulties on the road continued in Game 3 of their first round series.

With 2:22 left on the clock and the Hawks up 81-79, Dwight Howard took a hard foul courtesy of Zaza Pachulia. Jason Richardson immediately came to the defense of the Magic's franchise player and started mouthing off to Pachulia.

Pachulia responded with a few head bumps and J-Rich gave him a swift slap to the face.

You can only imagine what was going on in Richardson's head: "Don't mess with my big man, if we lose him we'll be completely out of this series."

Too bad for Richardson, the Hawks still took the game and now he probably won't be there for Game 4 because of that left-handed slap.

Sorry J-Rich, Howard's days with the Magic may be numbered. 

The Hawks have just outplayed you this season and  a first-round exit may just cement an offseason trade of the three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
